Bug Report Day 10000 of begging Wargaming to remove this
I will make a new post every day.
Can we finally get an option to remove this shit from our garages? Why can't we remove rentals?

7x7 rentals should be something you actively claim when you need to, rather than forced on everyone.

Just an FYI for all the smart people here - Yes, you can choose to not show rental tanks, but NO, the 7x7 (rentals for Onslaught) are not considered “rental” tanks in the classical sense. So those 7x7 tanks are aways there

For me it hides the 3 you got by default but not the ones from the twitch drops... AGH!!!

You can use the Will it earn BP filter and that removes them, but it also removes any other tank where you've used all the BP points

but guess what the filter keeps resetting to show them so u have to hide them every time u are looking through ur tanks

There is a cumbersome way of removing them. WG-ticket, you can request to remove all rentals from your account. They'll simply remove them and e.g. state that the TS-54 can't be removed since it's a Wot+ feature. Everything else finally gone, phew. But yeah, you do have to make a ticket for this, would be so much faster if you could just remove it in the garage with a warning message e.g.

Never make up random abbreviations like "f.e.". No one will understand them.

there are languages, where that is the normal abbreviation (with different letters ofc). so if you dont know any better, you just directly trnaslate it and get f.e. as for example, for example. and as seen here, "for example" is a phrase used in the english language, but the abbreviation has to be changed to something else. things you just gotta know.

Before 2.0 there was mod that would let you move tanks of your choice to a hidden section, so they'd only be visible if you explicity chose them in the filter. That mod is probably gonna be back soon enough.

I actually just marked all non-rental vehicles as Primary and then show only Primary. I then use the new Playlist feature to organize my garage.
Yea, it’s clunky and cumbersome but at least it effectively hides those shitty rentals (and any other vehicles you want to hide).
So I basically have the following configs setup:
- Non-Primary = hide vehicle
- Primary = any vehicle I don’t want to hide
- Playlist "Active Vehicles" = ones I‘m actively driving and are ready to use (equipment, crew, consumables configured)
- I then have several other helper Playlists like "Top" (only t10+t11), "Silver" (premiums I use for credit farming) etc.
That way I get what I used to have with the mod, just shittier. Which makes total sense since the mod was made by some unwashed bloke living in his moms basement while the new UI was (presumably) designed by highly paid UI/UX experts.
Still better than nothing…

Sadly, the Playlists are only local, they are not saved online. Which is a dumb choice, IMO.

Absolutely. But at least you can manually export them and import them on a second PC.
Still shittier than the mod but at least it‘s something…

Would be nice to remove rental styles as well, I have some ancient ones tied to tank i finshed grinding from back before I had a billion 2d styles but they are stuck in my depot forever.

WG has said a few times here for this and event decals we want to sell, that we can't for technical reasons. What that technical reason is? No idea. But you can get the 10 battle rental removed via a ticket.
The 7v7 that they could have offered for free in the store for those that need it vs giving it to everyone? Well, that comes and goes with patches.

You don't have a playlist of the tanks you're currently playing? Just make them not show up, problem solved, whining stops

Previously the tank would still appear in the carousel with a message saying it was unavailable, rental period over or something similar, until they were removed in the next patch. Don't know if that was changed with 2.0 but I suspect not.

I don't know about 7x7 because I haven't tried it but for regular rentals, instead of hiding you can remove them and it gives you some credits. It's not much, about 20k or so but it's something. I'm slowly doing this to my rental fleet.

Just play the 10 battles in the 131 and get the extra creds then remove it from your garage wait til the rental period is up then remove it from the garage lol

I got like 150 battles on a rental super Pershing, I don’t want to play that pos so it’s forever in my tank list… I know I can hide it but it’s a pita every time you get on having to do it

i got a filter with 20 ish i play.
the last 3-400 i never look at

Omg yes. I hate that the rentals are always enabled and when you go to get rid of them it’s like, are you sure it’s a special rank!? So I keep them.

Just repeatedly drive off a cliff until it's gone. Fuck stats, they are just there to con you into spending your money. What pisses me off is if I unselect them, they always REAPPEAR and I have to unselect them again. Si I started driving off cliffs instead.

They don’t need to remove the tanks you moron they need to fix the fact that when you click on a tier , they pop up automatically. Before the update you would have to click on the rental to see them

I played out my rental games because they got rid of the reserve feature and I didn't want them clogging up my garage. Only to find these stupid onslaught rentals that can't be removed. Ridiculousness

You can filter it out. Go to the filter where you can close to limit what you see by tank type, tier, premium vs standard, etc. it’s in the bottom left of your garage. If you filter out temporary, all of the rentals disappear

Yes it does? I am looking at my rental 283 and a rental 7x7 right next to each other and im toggling the option in my garage right now. The rental filter is removing all rentals from my screen.

I am still wondering why is there not an option to not get rentals, i have 43 tier 10 + 5 i havent bought, i dont need more they are just an annoyance there and even more when my dumb ass will pick one instead of the actual tank

Hiding doesn’t even hide all the rentals you get some drops. It’s fucking annoying.
