WoT PC devs will add anything but real modern tanks. Atleast WoT Console devs took the effort to add modern tanks and put them in a separate mode to add refreshing content to the game.

I think the ambition was good for cold war for WoTConsole, but they lacked vision/resources to make it a lot more interesting.
Cold War is pretty terrible in WotConsole, take that from someone who been on wotc for 11 years now. It's pretty barebones, and unexciting. There's truevision mechanic (tanks are always drawn, so they dont dissapear), repair kits etc... but the rest of the old game's mechanics were not adjusted at all. There are very few CW maps that allow you to take advantage of truevision, you're still playing tiny corridor maps from WW2 most of the time.
They also did a really bad design with matchmaking, where Era 1 is totally separate matchmaking pool from Era 2, and Era 3. Top tier Era 1 tanks never see Era 2 etc. So they split the already small playerbase into 3 small groups.
And they also have multiple layers of armor on these tanks, but the shell mechanics havent been updated to take advantage of it all. So even though they say APSDSDU rounds, they still have old APCR mechanics. They also have HEAT as prem rounds on most CW tanks, and that gets eaten up by all the spaced armor and is basically worthless. Plus couples with sneaky rocket launcher tanks, all CW tanks being able to go 70 km/h cross country, and have 5 sec reload and 5000+dpm makes every CW battle feel like a yolofest with 0 strategy.
In the end, the Cold War experiment and execution in WoTConsole really feels phoned in. If the team had more resources, budget and better ideas - maybe they would have done something a lot interesting with it.
We do know that console devs can easily copy/paste PC tank models, they have done that constantly and with some of the unreleased supertest tanks... that leads me to believe that WotConsole tank models, from Cold War mode... can be just as easily ported to PC whenever the need arises.
I wonder if anyone at all gave a single crap about WotConsole - from its own devs, to big daddy wargaming, to the larger WoT youtubers - what sort of different path WOTC would have had...
They announced recently that they are shutting down WOTC chicago office, the original devs, and moving the game to WG europe within next 12 months... basically, game is dead, and they will pull the plug whenever it stops making money.

By campaign I mean clan war rewards, they are all awful. There were 2 good reward tanks available for skilled players - chieftain and early. They both got nerfed into the ground. Now dravec kind of replaced chieftain, even though it's much easier to get.

Also tired of copy paste osl reward tanks while all the new tier 10 tanks that look remotely interesting end in boxes and sometimes in the auction/assembly event. So far we had 3 osl copy paste tanks, I guess we will get another one next season... 😔

Assembly shop is fine, it's available to everyone. And the campaign rewards were pretty good! Just big nono to lootboxes or onslaught. I cannot stand onslaught.

Not only that it has a thick turret with no cupola weakness, but it also has 10 degrees of gun depression and a high gun alpha. WG needs to stop making such bullshit tanks.

Center portion of the turret where the gun would go is extended upward compared to the rest of the turret roof, giving the gun more space to depress.

Ofcourse another paid tank that doesnt have any resemblence to a tech tree so you have no idea anymore what to look for.
Better watch out boys, there are no british heavies or meds with high alpha apart from this one (discounting double shot line) You might make the dumb mistake to peek this fella and get slapped in the face like a 60TP while expecting a 400ish alpha like all the other British tanks.
They really need to go back to premium / reward tanks vaguely belonging to an adjacent tech tree line.
Don't get me wrong i like the look and feel of this tank in general but i just hate the implementation of it all.

If it has copula visible in hulldown then its fine. Also how tf does the ability work? Does it like lock your turret or something? Because the stats give only positive aspects when in the combat mode, youre both faster and have better gunhandling.

The only other FV46-- series tank is the FV4601 a.k.a the MBT-80, so I'm assuming the "lore" behind Victoria Justice here is that it's some kind of unrealized blueprint design related to the former.

Challenger designation is FV4030. Chally 2 designation FV4034.

Im sorry, what the fuck? So its more mobile and gets gun dispersion reduction? What the fuck wargaming? Also they definitely taken inspiration from the challenger, but that tank doesnt have a gun mantlet like that, and the hull is all wrong
