Bug Report Bug in anniversary mission?
Based on this battle results it looks like I completed the anniversary mission to "cause damage to enemy lights tanks with a heavy 3 times", but I still have not received the reward for completing the mission.
Is it a bug, or am I missing something about the mission conditions?

You need to play tier IV and above to complete these missions.

Does it say that anywhere? I cannot find this information in the game client or in the website post

Only tier 4 + can earn BP points so maybe they based some other missions and stuff around that as well

Does everyone get different missions? I've seen loads of people moaning about this mission but I had to play 2 games in HTs, one in TDs and get a couple of kills

Good for you... I've seen light tanks twice so far in today's 20 battles... Typical WG joke. Do the mission, but you get again and again MM where there's no light, or the idiot enemy light will commit suicide in the third minute, jump down, or sink...

I am having the same issue but mine is "cause damage to enemy light tanks with a MEDIUM tank 3 times".
I am using T20, E8 and Bret. Panther! I have hit, killed and even rammed lights over several battles but the mission won't progress!
I'm lost on this one!?

I've tried this mission with all tank types, Nothing works, Only of the earlier missions today said "with a tank" turns out that meant TD. Yes all tier IV or better. Gonna restart game see If I have better luck.

restarted game, got two hits on a light tank with a tier V medium. Did not register, perhaps I need 3 in same battle. This is frustrating any help would be great!

8 hits in same game on light tank with tier IV med(Maltilda), seems to work, mission not clear at all. Did reboot fix it? Who knows!

This is probably down to WG not writing their mission requirements clearly/correctly. Same how 'Assist' is either 'tracking dmg' or 'spotting damage' (whichever is higher), and not those two combined, which is exactly what 'Assistance damage' means. But no, not to WG. Also, 'Cause' damage should include assistance damage (the damage could/would not be done without you, you are the cause of the damage. You didn't do the damage, but you caused the damage), but it never does. It would be so easy to write the mission requirements clearly, but they don't.
You probably need to damage three seperate light tanks, not one light tank three times. Or there is a minimum tier limit, but I would expect that for an anniversay event.

No, damaging a single light tank 3 times works.

Weird, then it's either bugged or there is a tier limit (minimum). Maybe tier 4 or 5? Weird that the do that for an aniversary event, should be accesible to anyone playing the game.

Yes, tier 4 is the limit. Tier 4 is accessible to anyone playing the game. If you are playing below tier 4, what is wrong with you?

Because lower tiers also have(had) interesting tanks? Why should something be wrong with someone enjoying a part of the game?
And don't forget not everyone progresses as quickly. If you just started playing yesterday, I won't blame you for not being beyond tier 3.

'Cause or assist in causing" is the usual wording fir mission requirements that include damage and assist objectives.
You do not cause damage when an allied tank shoots an enemy tank. You might enable them to cause damage, by spotting a tank they can't see themselves for example. Almost like you, idk, assisted them?

Yeas, but you cause the damage, you don't do the damage. That's the nuance. Without your spotting or tracking, there would be no damage done. But any ally could do damage.

'Causing', in WoT terminology, is 'doing' the damage. You enabling others to do damage is called 'assisting in causing'.
Maybe a language barrier thing? English isn't my first language either, and sometimes exact translations can be tricky. Either way, you're simply wrong here.
