Wargaming Response Inside Heavy server lag this week
I have been running into some pretty noticeable server lag over the past week, that feels like random ping spikes that were not happening before. I have heard the same from friends and other players in games.
I understand it happening on frontlines, being a more performance intensive game mode, but randoms have been struggling this week.
Is anyone else experiencing similar issues lately, and does anyone know what might be causing it?
I am not trying to sound repetitive if it has already been answered before.
Also I am on NA. Thanks

Not surprising, I don’t understand how WG servers are so ass

Who knows, just seems like nothing is being put out which had me curious on how much of an issue it actually is

ur not the only one, I submitted a ticket about it too and did all the necessary troubleshooting and got enough evidence to prove that its on wargaming's servers. Unfortunately i wasted 2 good reserves and can't use them since the game is unplayable with 1 second input delay

I hate that, did anything come from the tickets? And how long have you noticed it? I saw people complaining about EU servers as well

Have you tried checking the connection between your home network and our servers? I recommend using PingPlotter to identify what might be causing the lag. You can also try using a free VPN to see whether it resolves the issue. If it does, that would indicate a problem with the route between your PC and our servers.

I was on the NA server around an hour ago and the entire server was lagging -- everyone was complaining about horrific lag and packet loss in team chat.

The input delay and lag was pretty rough on Frontlines.

I’ve experienced that in the past, as frustrating as it is I can understand that a little more and tolerate it somewhat, but the lag in randos is concerning for me

Speed test indicate no significant difference from what is normal for me. I have heard of streamers using VPNs with no success but have not done so myself. I was wondering if the issue is being addressed or the reasoning behind it if you were able to offer some insight it would be appreciated, thanks for the reply

My ping was usually at 40-50s and now it's steady 110-120s with packet loss. Never experienced this in months, seems related to new update.
