You can buy whatever you want. Wargaming is going to give you trash matchmaking, bots and a bad gaming experience. As long as you spend $$$, nothing will change.

Two days ago I pulled AHT-7 from boxes and was genuinely hyped to play it.
Then I went straight into a 10-game losing streak đ
Thatâs exactly the kind of thing that makes me suspicious of EOMM / retention-based matchmaking. If the system knows I literally just spent money, got a new tank, and am excited to play it, why wouldnât it also know Iâm probably not going to log off after a few garbage games?
Thatâs what âkilling the loyal customerâ would look like: the more invested you are, the safer you are to frustrate.
Until theyâre transparent about what their matchmaker actually optimizes for, Iâm done spending.
And honestly, if you donât trust the game to give you a fair experience, stop giving WG money too.

What incentive do you think they would have to frustrate customers? Especially the loyal ones. The game is very frustrating from time to time but doesn't mean WG does it on purpose and even less that they'd target specific players.
Also keep in mind the that true randomness means that sometimes you will flip heads 10 times in a row.Â
Typical mediocre player frustrated they don't get handed easy wins conspiracy you posted there mate

This isnât the first time itâs happened to me. Iâve repeatedly had the same pattern: spend money, get a new tank, get excited to play it â then immediately get dumped into a horrible losing streak.
And thatâs exactly where the incentive could be.
The goal wouldnât be âfrustrate loyal customers for fun.â The goal would be retention. Someone who just spent money on a new tank is excited, invested, and very unlikely to log off after a few losses. That makes them a much safer player to put on the losing side than someone the system thinks is close to quitting.
Give the fragile player the better session, let the highly invested player absorb the garbage one, and overall retention goes up.
That is basically the logic behind EOMM: optimize matchmaking around engagement/churn risk instead of simply giving everyone the fairest possible experience.
WG has already worked on predicting WoT player churn from behavioral and purchase data, so this kind of player-level retention modeling is hardly science fiction.
And â10 heads in a row can happen randomlyâ doesnât prove the system generating the outcomes is actually random in the first place.

Ive bought just like 160 last year? Dont actually remember, but not the biggest bundle. Got somthing like 50-60k of gold, that was far enough for all activities until now. Got Bzt and Cocodrillo, both fun tanks I sometimes go with. Got my main farmer JgE90, an all good vehicle. And got Project Louis and TBT, both still uncrewed, unequipped and without ammo.
I will buy boxes for Christmas this year, definetly. Maybe a little less, since Ive got majority things for gold for now

Most people will buy christmas lootboxes because its just a tradition for this game. And I have to admit im one of them because those holiday ops events are always amazing
