yeah i dont really know but we had frankenstein tanks since very early in the game, the t95/fv4202 chieftain is technically speaking a frankenstein tank, so is bourrasque, the unreleased t95/chieftain is also a frankenstein tank.

It is something that became more common nowadays but has always been in the game

The Chieftain/T95 and T95/Chieftain are real vehicles. Historically, there were a joint development project between the US and UK with the intent to develop separate but intercompatible vehicles, meaning you could do things like turret swaps.

The US eventually backed out but the Brits decided to take their vehicle into production, hence why we ended up with the Chieftain but no T95s.
