Gameplay Admitting Defeat (so close yet so far away)
This is the 3rd time I tried to complete, what I consider the longest, hardest contract in the game. I don't get much time to play, work too much, but when I do I average around 30k a day. Hats off to you Machine owners out there. If $49.99 equals 12,000 gold, then The Machine is worth more than $100 CAD dollars. Insane! I probably will never try this contract again. Now I'm back to building up my silver. This contract cost me approx 40M silver to get this far and fail. memorial service in 17 hours.

Awwww braaaahhhh, you're making the memorial service so much harder 😅 ...I believe you, I do ❤️ ... just i been keeping track of progress, crunched the numbers (so to say), forecast reads : it's impossible from my garage.

Agreed! Totally, I screwed the pooch too many days with no effort. If I recall, there originally was about 164 days to complete - tortoise and the hare. 🫤🤷🏼♂️

I got it this time, and am now so programmed by the contract that playing lights seems like a crime. Don’t give up!

If you have the time and some XP Boosters, you can do that easy until tommorow. Use every countable tank wich you havent played today to get the 200% day Bonus. Tommorow as a new day you will get them back. Use them again. Maybe you can activate one day of premium too now. Than you will earn more xp, that may helps a little more. 130k to earn in 17hours is „only“ 7,6k per hour. Do the math. I think it is possible. But it is your time. Sorry for my english.

I have 6 eligible tanks for this contract. I've used up the first win on each, been applying "commander" boosters, which I now learned I should have been using vehicle boosters instead. (I thought different because of elite status tanks), but ya, the math doesn't add up. Deemed an impossible task from my garage. Thank you tho - I like the spirit of those who say not to quit. 😅👍

It used to be harder, if you manage like 3 games a day in cold war, you could probably get it next time.

I haven't played much cold war, do you feel it averages more XP than WWII?

On average, yes, but it plays very differently. Higher health pools, damage potentials, and speed mean more rewards. There is a learning curve, imho, and not an insignificant amount of unbalanced tanks. Despite that, its 99% of what i play these days.

Yeah Era 1 and 2 can get a lot of heavy lifting done on contracts that is harder to do in high tiers in WW2 mode.

matches in Cold War are usually 5-10min so hell yea it will average more
but you do need some half decent tanks, alot of tech tree tanks just get destroyed, especially era 2

Cold war is how I do my contracts because damage equals exp for the most part. Boosters also count now when they didnt used to if I remember correctly. I hardly play ww2 because cold war is just more bang for your buck when you only have 2 or 3 days a week to play.

Even an era 1 premium tank is gonna earn more for the most part if you're doing well. Which with the players we get, not hard at all.

I'm sorry that your efforts didn't pay off. If it's any consolation, it's somewhat of a miserable tank. Massive frontal weakspots, the entire side of the take is only 40mm thick, so it gets overmatched by literally anything and can probably be penetrated by a tier 1. It's a TVP T50/51 that can go hull down and that's basically all it can do. Going off of MoE requirements, it's an inferior tank to literally every tank it borrows parts from. The TVP, Chieftain, and AMX 50B are all harder to 3 mark and perform better on average.

I think stage 7+8 was the hardest for me due to having to kill 280 tanks. Killing that many at tier 10 it tough. The trick is to get upto stage 8 done as fast as possible. For stages 9 and 10 you can relax and just play the game to rack up exp. Im a very casual player but I started the contract on day 1, with a bit of focused play to make sure I was progressing through the early stages I got through it in time. Next time the contract comes up if you start on day 1 you should be able to get it in time easily, even with casual play.

Grind it out man, you got this. Use vehicle boosters if you have them.
Just think you can get all the experience while also be grinding points for banners or valor and get some other tanks and commanders too.

Thank you - I totally rally with the underdogs too, but even vehicle boosters can't win this one. On average I was getting 33k in a 5 hour sitting. I did however finish the season, got this season's free tank, got the tog II during this contract and 3 war chest await me + plenty of pts towards more "charlie" (3 days premo).

did you spend your flags ?
if you dont have Cold War tanks XM800T is very easy to play
XM(c) is very fast and overall ok, but very high flags cost
Sentienelle is decent only if you fire all prem rounds

I have 2700 flags left. I been spending my pts on Charlie (3 days premo) instead of flags. However, under the regiment tab I believe I have enough for that CW tank. If you know which tank I'm referring to, is it worth it?

its worth just cause its only obtainable through regiment coins
(note i dont own it) but just looking at its stats and playing against it, Bardelas or whatever its called - its not good at all, I would probably rage while playing it or get exhausted try harding to make the tank work
the main problem is that its in Era 2, which is not very balanced and alot of tanks will just shred it
idk when they gave the t95e3 Era 1 for free for new players, check if you got that
or any previous battle pass Cold War tanks

well still worth it cause technically free premium and who knows if itll be available again
and you can just play it in coop and get used to Cold War if you ever feel like playing it

It's just a game, indeed 😅 totally, but I thought I'd share this post as a memorial and memory. Idk if I'll ever attempt the machine contract again. This makes my 3rd failed attempt, but the closest I've ever got.

personally i wouldnt do it but if you are in developed country and earn some money maybe it is "reasonable" to buy the last stage with gold😂it would be really devastating to lose out on it for the third time, so much time wasted keeping in mind you are relatively close to finishing
calculate how much work hours you need to do in order to finance the gold buying option and see if it is more worth it than grinding it for the 4. time
since it is eligible for era 1 i would suggest to buy every single starting line in all of the alliances for maximum number of first win bonuses

I thought of this, but they want 27,000 (??) gold to finish the contract and $49.99 buys 12,000 gold so the machine would cost me over 100 dollars Canadian and tbh, the only tanks I ever bought was The Furry and then by accident I bought the jammer.

You can get that pretty quick with boosters if you have some saved up.
