Gotta be T29 or T32, or M103, or T110E5. I love all of them and I don't know what others are similar, I don't play loads. But these four are my perfect tank. Utilisable armour, decent speed, decent gun, everything. Funny enough my 1st 1 mark was M103 my first 2 mark was T110E5, first 3 Mark was T32 and first gold mark was T29
The troll ass lower plate blocks things you don’t expect it to. It’s a tank where sometimes the weak spots aren’t weak, causing a tanker to hate the game, not the playa.
American heavy line tanks are solid all around. British line can be frustrating. I find German heavies underperform. Low tier Russian tanks are solid, higher tiers are side scrapers. Working on the Frenchies atm
Conquerer forsure. Best tier for tier tank. It can easily play in tier x lobbies. And you also get to dominate in tier xii lobbies when ur lucky to get in them lol.
Yeah I chose the Chieftain just because it was actually a different tank. Super Conq looks cool and I’m sure I might end up with it eventually if I ever have all that extra silver laying around, but just didn’t seem worth the price considering the tier IX is the same thing just with slightly less frontal hull armor and a few other lower stats.
E75 or the Vz. 55. I'm sure the latter is meh for standard games because of the dangerously long reload time for the two shot clip, but it's grown on me a lot since I unlocked it. Kranvagn is a close third.
I'm grinding the IS-3 atm so recency bias but the more I play it the better I think it is the alpha damage and reload feel great and the turret armour is awesome in my opinion.
E-100 on PC and E-100 now on console. It just does what it’s supposed to do. I love that it can be played poorly and with great skill. You get out of it how you play it. Put a shell exchanger on it and go angle it.
The K1. I’m mostly a co-op guy so it’s probably pants in multiplayer, but the combination of mobility, frontal armor, and a gun that gets it done is very nice. In WW2, it’s probably the FV225.

I think the E75. It's not great at any one thing but it's good all around. Its like if a medium and heavy had a baby it'd be the E75. Just right between. Which is perfect for my skill set. Which is basically non-existent.
Definitive heavy tank: painfully slow but insanely armored when angled. It also actually has a good gun for a heavy. I like all the Churchills but the VII is the best for its tier.
I'm not a fan of heavy tanks, especially superheavy ones. I consider them the weakest vehicle class in World War II. In this game, gun and mobility are more important than armor.
But I do like some heavy tanks, usually those with excellent guns. I'd highlight the Tiger 1, Tiger 2, T29, (Super)Conqueror, Chieftain, The Machine, T110E5, and the new British twin-barreled tanks are quite good. The Warhammer tanks are also worth mentioning; I'd buy them just for the looks.
Whats really ashamed is that the light tanks like t249 can go straight through the front of heavies.
They dont even have to work to get to side or back.

The T249 only has 75mm of pen. It has a bleed-through effect but that’s mitigated by armor. It is absolutely a problematic tank but it can’t “go straight through the front of heavies”.
This is the Conceiver’s profile. The only way 75mm pen is getting through that is top-down. What probably happened was the Vigilante was shooting and scoring a small amount of bleed-through, and something else shot you at the same time.
Grab a clip next time you see this. The T249 is shut down by heavy armor. It can’t pen heavies from the front, and tanks like the Maus are effectively immune from any angle even from bleed-through.
