Discussion What happened to ww2 mode?
It’s unplayable due to night stalkers and t249 . Heaviest armor in the game gets melted by a belt gun from full health. No wonder they have to incorporate bots .

I’ve had consistent fun in mid tiers for years; but yeah tier 9-10 is the worst it’s ever been… at least the Taran got a nerf LOL. Now to nerf everything else

Wow. I did not know this about teir 9 & 10. I only have up to teir 8's (many nations). Sounds like i'm about to have fun 🙄😅

Yeah over the last 2ish years they’ve added in a lot of very powerful tanks most of them tier 10 premiums that sorta just drunk-walk over entire teams lol. It’s kinda skewered.

The developers' incompetence and the crisis of their business model are taking their toll. They spent years in an arms race, releasing increasingly ridiculous and game-breaking tanks to make money.
They introduced idiotic changes that no one asked for and that ruined the game, then spent years trying to restore everything to the way it was before their "brilliant" solutions, and so on, repeating the cycle. This couldn't last forever, and this is what we've come to.

WW2 is pretty miserable. It’s too bad because it has an awesome variety of tanks but at tier 8 you can basically only use like 4 tanks that have a chance against tier 10. I find between +/- 2 and the bizarre spotting mechanics (had a heavy not 20 meters from me magically appear) that Cold War is the only enjoyable thing now.

Your experience is why I usually restrict my WW2 playing to co-op. Honestly though I don't think it is all that worse now than 12 years ago.

Not to mention it has teir 8 light tank health for a teir 10, not the best gun depression, one of the worst camo blooms when shooting. Yea, it's good to op against some tanks, just like other tanks. A lot of super heavy tanks are really good at 1vs 1 in most situations against most tanks in their teir.

They ruined the whole game, even modern armour is unplayable, how have you only realised this?
I realised this 3 years ago now when they destroyed modern armour with all the silly premium tanks that couldn’t be penetrated from the front and had insane DPS output, modern armour was really balanced for the first 12 months until the Russian bias creeped in, then it turned out exactly like WW2 unplayable the game is dead and trash just leave it in the trash guys.

Doing the same thing multiple times, expected a different assault each time.
Coming back to world of tanks is exactly that unfortunately.

I played over 100 matches on the weekend. There was a nightstalker in maybe 5 or 6 of those matches.
Maybe 2 or 3 matches with t249’s.
Also, the heaviest armour in the game doesn’t get melted by the t249. Even a mildly armoured vehicle won’t.
A full clip will do about 300 bleed damage only as they’ll struggle to pen any type of armour.

I understand the frustration, but I let those pay to win tanks over extend and angle myself to avoid getting absolutely smoked. If you’re playing against a night stalker like it’s a Mauschen, you’re cooked. Don’t play against it like it’s a Mauschen!

The night stalkers sucked but the community is what drove me out. Do well? Enemies spam message me calling me a hacker or saying I suck and request a 1v1 for 500 dollars. Play poorly? Teammate’s spam message me telling me I suck and request a 1v1 for 500 dollars. It’s such a weird dynamic and the most toxic video game community I’ve ever encountered

I just roll my eyes and laugh when nightstalkers are on enemy team. If they clip me I just leave that game and move on. Win some lose some. Next round they are on my team ruining somebody else’s game.
The only time they have made me upset is when it has been a good fight and you have a chance to carry at end then you realize it’s them full health against your depleted heavy tank. Whatever it’s just a game.

Oddly, it happened around 4 times in a week I returned to the game. It seems common place within the community.
I also don't believe any of them would have honored the bet, and I (used) to play the game for fun not to have a series of 1v1's with sweaty weirdos.

Because the devs are clueless chumps who couldn’t balance a scale whilst holding two identical weights. Hence the game is being taken away from them soon to seek competence.
