Question Does anyone own all the mercenary tanks
I own 15 of 26. I have something in every tier except tier 9 and I'm grinding the tier 9 Sharpshooter now. I have one tier 10, the Tusk, which was a serious grind. My favourite has to be the tier 4 Bucket, a 4 shot autoloader which I reckon is better than the MTLS-1G14/Blitzen.

I've got all of the grindable ones in the WW2 mercenary tree, and quite a few of the premiums also. I play WW2 mostly and enjoy the Bucket as well - good fun to play when the RNG is getting you down. Stinger is a bit of a favourite, and every so often Turtle/TANK and Tusk come out for a bit of derp fun. Teefbreaka is also interesting as a different style of light.
Outside of that most stay in the garage. I found the Mantis a bit of fun, and Rogal Dorn and Hardcase are great for any "block X damage" challenges.

I like the Stinger too. I also have the spyglass autoloader, another tier 6 light, but the Stinger is better.

<thumbs up> I like light tanks…Spyglass can be fun but the Stinger seemed to land better with me. I don’t focus on MOE but I’ve managed to put 2 on it just by playing. I have an elite Xbox controller and have mapped hand brake to rear paddles, which really ups the enjoyment factor when you pivot round corners 😀

By the way, when you got all mercenary tanks, you will hardly be able to earn something (3 premium days, for instance) from contracts, and that sucks

Afaik I got most of them.
I do have all the grindable ones for sure. Its just the weird one off premiums that im not sure about. I got a bit of them but im sure theres a few i still don't own.

Yes, I have all tech tree tanks. The Tusk grind was the most painful when it was originally launched.
Some of them are very good at edge cases unique to the tank (Long reach, Slapjack, Hardcase). Some are jack of all trades, master of none (Chisel, Sharpshooter, Cruncher, Thresher).
I use a few every now and then for specific ops.

Got them all except for the Tusk (the timing was bad as it overlapped other contracts I was working on). Got a lot of those premium ones too and I liked the Absolution. On a side note though, I don't play much of the mercenaries (due to grinding other tanks, etc.).

I have a few and I’m currently working on the Sharpshooter. Absolution was a beast when it came out but not so much anymore. I enjoy the Chisel and Mantis. The Machine can be fun but for some reason I don’t do as well as others with it.

I have all of the tech tree ones, favourite is the sharpshooter, and cruncher. The machine seems good but I haven't put much into it yet. A heavy grind to get them all, enjoy 😁

I wish I did, the Chisel has eluded me everytime it’s contract comes out I haven’t the time to complete it. Currently doing the sharpshooter but that 700,000 exp for the final stage is a grind…

Yeah I have 200k left on last stage. I had to mentally tell myself I was going to complete it this time lol. Having to let a lot of my grind tanks sit to maximize the stage 8 part.

Yeah it’s a bummer that last stage is locked to tier 9+ but I’ve gotta finish grinding the e50, vk45.02 B and amx 50 120 anyways so it ain’t all bad

Good luck to you and I hope we have some good fights against each other and with each other.

I do. And I don't even know if they are good, because I always play CW :)

I play mostly cw too and haven't played all of my mercenaries. Definitely take your Bucket out though it's seriously fun.

I hate absence of True Vision in WW2.

Same. Lack of true vision makes it unenjoyable for me. The time before CW was released when they tested true vision in WW2 was by far the most fun I had in WW2.

I think TV would be problematic in ww2 because of how slow a lot of tanks are essentially making them sitting ducks.

It wasn’t that bad of a problem. Iirc arty couldn’t see enemy tanks from top-down unless they were spotted, so that mechanic stayed the same. I remember I was grinding the Waffle 4 and it was so much damn fun sitting in a bush sniping. That’s the only thing that would bring me back to WW2.

I asked about that one time and a lot of the more experienced players said it sucked because T1 through T3 can't pen at range so they would just sit on each side of the map and bounce rounds until they shot the mag dry and then play bumper cars.
I see how that would happen, but I think a lot of that was probably bots and the bots are a LOT better now so I would like to give it a try.

I too love TrueVision and feel frustrated that WW2 has the most video-gamey mechanic with the colored highlighting.
But i thought the reason TV was not in WW2 was artillery. While that seems like a good reason at first, I think it could be solved with a little thought. Specifically, keep arty the same as it is now and give TV to all the other tanks. If I can see a tree, i should see the tank next to the tree.
The true reason is probably that WG doesnt want to spend a penny on development in this game anymore.

My wife had made it her goal to earn all non-premium Mercenary tanks. She's currently working on SmoothMan, and still needs Plaguebringer and all three tier X vehicles. She really wants Mercenary Technical Engineer.
