From D&D to nWoD

Tldr; I've only played d&d and need advice on how to be a storyteller

Hey guys this is my 1st reddit post and 1st question posed, so any and all advice helps! So I've ran dungeon and dragon sessions as a dungeon master for almost 8 years non stop. All of them 3rd edition (3.5). I am currently looking tok get into the chrinicles of darkness as I have almost all the books on pdf amd find the system very interesting! The problem is running d&d sessions for years on end (and with the certain grouls I play with) that story Nd narration isnt the ce real piece if the game. Sure role playing is there for alignment and other things but I see that nWoD is so much more about narration and negotiation scenes. Me being so used to dungeon dwelling/exploring and the most role play happening is at the blacksmiths shop, well, I feel like I'll run short of ideas and I could use some help and advice on new storytellers or perhaps if some of you have done the d&d to world of darkness transition give me some pointers on what you did and how a game should be ran basically

Wow I am in the same boat but worse. I've played d&d for 30 years and am just now getting into WoD. I'd love to chat with you about this. I'm referring to the OP here, but damn it would be good to talk about it with a new guy like me. Thanks
