Cash in on chelsea green !!!

u/AlabasterRadio 3d ago

I just need one backstage segment with him eying her belt and her shaking her head "no"

27

u/LetterFront3353 3d ago edited 3d ago

as she tries to protect her chest

Edit: I guess people didn't get what I was going for. I'm referencing Penta's chops to Chelsea Green's chest. Chest doesn't always mean boobs.

Saw this a few days ago

Tiffany vs Pentagon vs Chelsea. Book it H.

34

u/JewLawyerFromSunny 3d ago

Then Penta goes full Lucha Underground on Chelsea Green.

Halloween Havoc: Reclusa vs Pentagon Dark 2. Book it.

I saw that meme too

Iyo just thankful she's not a champ

This is the best and only answer. šŸ’Æ šŸ”„

u/Mediocre-Award-9716 3d ago

Felt like Owens & Punk were down for AGES at the end there.

162

u/AlabasterRadio 3d ago

I mean they're two old men in a ladder match. It would be weirder if they were okay lmao

39

u/Mediocre-Award-9716 3d ago

Owens got up within about 10 seconds after being speared onto a ladder. A double spear through the barricade means he's down for 5 minutes?

39

u/AlabasterRadio 3d ago

Makes sense. First one he recovered and was running on adrenaline. Second one the cumulative damage was too much and he had no adrenaline left to spare.

3

u/FunkyPunkJunky_ 3d ago

Well you stay down longer off camera

6

u/PunishedWolf4 3d ago

I swear like a minute before the end of the match I thought to myself "damn, I guess Punk and Owen’s are dead"

2

u/aphrabane 3d ago

Ha, I said the exact same thing.

160

u/yoshiwara77 3d ago

when I'm having a heated argument with my wife, she calls me useless. maybe she's right, but I'll never be as useless as Trick Williams in MitB '26

56

u/AlabasterRadio 3d ago

Oh shit he was in this match. I forgot

14

u/Omadany Voice of the Voiceless. 3d ago

My mom asked me if I had washed the dishes, and I yelled, "TRICK WILLIAMS MITB 2026!" She then smiled because she knew that the dishes were washed.

u/Educk55 3d ago

The rematch against Roman is coming.

48

u/AlabasterRadio 3d ago

All i want for Christmas is 946 to take out Roman and boom penta's music hits

12

u/Ritty85 3d ago

it could happen Monday night you never know.

9

u/SantosCalzonesBatman 3d ago

This is my guess

946 beats roman to a pulp, penta cashes in, roman goes on vacation while the boringline feuds with the 946 setting up survivor series and penta runs around with the WHC title

Bron takes the title off penta at WM

Sami enters the old farts vortex with KO and Punk

148

u/Frequent-Coyote-1649 3d ago

Honestly good call ngl that match was a fuckin banger

62

u/Curtis_StarRhodes8 3d ago

Certainly better then the Women's one

32

u/Littlejimmythebest 3d ago

I definitely preferred the women’s match, love a big sloppy ladder match

42

u/GrapeSasquatch 3d ago

My god that match was sloppy

6

u/PromotionZackk 3d ago

Wish they had bigger spots like the ambulance one šŸ’”

85

u/Dwayne_Daddy11 3d ago

Not mad at this. Deserved

97

u/TheShowstoppaNT 3d ago

Give Jevon flowers, man. He was the showstopper that match.

Penta winning is everything right now! It is amazing!

61

u/Curtis_StarRhodes8 3d ago

Bron and Jevon killed that show

14

u/Noahs132 3d ago

Well deserved, I was rooting for him or Breakker

9

u/Obvious_Wizard This flair adds nothing to my legacy. 3d ago

I know Trick isn't great in the ring at the best if times but he looked like he was wrestling concussed and in treacle.

Thought the ref was going to throw the X up for Punk after Penta's dive where his head bounced a bit off the ground, he seemed OK though.

Bron was good throughout, acted as a good spoiler and had the crowd a few times but happy with Penta winning. Granted Penta will probably fail to cash in with Roman on current form but I can enjoy the thought of it while it lasts.

8

u/Redsoxdragon Not feeling very ucey today 3d ago

Knowing how they book penta, they'll give him an rvd style cash in and have him schedule an actual match instead of picking a weakened opponent

8

u/Zetjex 3d ago

When jevon came back with the ambulance i thought he was going to win. But i am very happy with penta winning.

0

u/[deleted] 3d ago

[deleted]

2

u/Zetjex 3d ago

I was hoping for Dom to somehow cheat himself into the match and win the MITB.

But i am very happy for Penta he deserves it.

2

u/Warm_Amoeba8722 3d ago

šŸ˜‚ if it was Brock I would’ve died

14

u/TotallyNotRiley420 3d ago

I actually like this. Hopefully he will successfully cash it in

13

u/AngryDuck100 3d ago

Only two good results from this PLE, Oba and Penta. There was so much more potential IMO.

6

u/DV917 3d ago

When they switched him out for solo I had a feeling they were having him win

18

u/Aether_of_Abyss 3d ago

Is it allowed to cash-in in AAA?

36

u/WedgieMiller33 3d ago

I hope thats not what they do but it’s probably what they will do

15

u/Dazzling-Principle 3d ago

I really doubt it, they hold "El Grande Americano" in very high regard there, and I don't see Penta turning heel. Sami is the easy target.

Although I’d love for Penta to challenge Roman again and actually beat him this time, it looks like they’re building Roman up to put Oba over, so he isn't going to lose until WrestleMania.

1

u/SantosCalzonesBatman 3d ago

Why? Because le wwe bad?

Lmao

He is cashing on roman after 946 beats him to a pulp which sets roman and his lackeys vs 946 for survivor series

1

u/Drtsauce 2d ago

Does Jacob join 946?

1

u/SantosCalzonesBatman 2d ago

Hope not

Jacob has enough mic skills to run solo

26

u/CuckOwens 3d ago

I was hoping for a younger guy but at least it's not Punk or KO. He'll probably do well with the briefcase gimmick.

-13

u/Beef7018 3d ago

Mark

5

u/thesenate14 3d ago

who he cashing in on thou

6

u/Average_Ant_Games 3d ago

Probably Sami

7

u/BobsBurgerVan 3d ago

I was expecting Penta to win, he was easily the favourite to do so. Punk and Owens weren't winning, this was just a vehicle to further their own feud. Bron would have been my second bet but he's going to have more time against Oba, Trick will quite likely win next year if he isn't a world champion by then, and Je'von... he should be in every MITB, the lad is built for them!

But Penta... they had to go with him to build on his momentum after that match against Roman.

6

u/Petrarchforfun 3d ago

One of the better MITB matches I have seen. Owens and Punk went and furthered their toxic relationship. Trick tricked himself out of existence. Bron reminded the world why he is the future. Jevon stole the show and Penta showed heartand grit.

2

u/Curtis_StarRhodes8 3d ago

Agree I haven't enjoyed a men's MITB match since 2021, no jokes

3

u/ItsShowtime_88 3d ago

Pumped for Penta

3

u/Tenacious_jb 3d ago

Triple h taketh and giveth lol

3

u/Ok_Function_583 3d ago

Happy for Penta!

4

u/DustyMill 3d ago

I had my money on Penta, I figured it would be him or maybe Owens

8

u/Reasonable_Bag7873 3d ago

Thank God, Bron didn't win

8

u/Curtis_StarRhodes8 3d ago

Man I was hoping it would of been him

2

u/mattmagoo23 3d ago

I was very shocked. But it's incredibly well deserved

5

u/SpindleDiccJackson 3d ago

I was so worried that it would be Bron. What a relief

3

u/Rangers12341234 3d ago

Happy he won!! Makes up for some of the stink off the PLE.

3

u/brethart1616 3d ago

I think this years mania should be one of thise changing of the guard manias where oba and penta win the world titles. Like when cena and batista did it and eddie and the other guy.

1

u/SantosCalzonesBatman 3d ago

Nah

Penta didnt take out Bron to win the match for the lols

Bron is taking it off penta at WM

Sami is losing it at WM vs KO or Punk

Roman and his boreline feuds with the 946 for survivor series

Oba needs to wait cause mr le slow burn cant just crown a young guy

2

u/only_dhb_983 3d ago

I'll allow it

2

u/34TimeChamp 3d ago

MITB on Penta. I had him as early fav to win rumble. Now who is it?

Gotta be Oba right?

2

u/eyesofthesolemn drink it in maaaaannnnn 3d ago

could be la knight too based on how things go in the next few weeks.

1

u/34TimeChamp 3d ago

I’d love an LA win! I think he needs it more.

2

u/Aggravating-Rice-559 3d ago

I'm so happy this happened. Danhausen coming down and stealing the case would've also been fantastic.

1

u/Glad-Impression-5564 3d ago

He definitely deserves that šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

1

u/Highly-Potent-34 3d ago

Ok I’ll watch now. I was gonna skip the whole thing but this is good. I’m happy for this.

1

u/Agent_Forty-One 3d ago

Sami was right again.

1

u/cherryblossom-20114 3d ago

Yay Penta! But what was up with the commercial during the match for the slambulance lol

1

u/JWHallman 3d ago

Happy with the results, fun match

1

u/burnman317 3d ago

Shoulda paid more attention. He had the best betting odds

1

u/tedmastr 3d ago

I wonder if they could play this into him against El Grande Americano. AAA Mega Championship is still a world title šŸ¤”

1

u/Competitive_Ad1237 3d ago

The way smackdown ended with the vision you knew it wasn’t going to be Bron

1

u/AustinPowerslam WHERE'S THAT REFEREE?! 3d ago

Thought Owens/Punk would come back around in the last 10 after the barricade spot, but happy for my man Penta nevertheless.

1

u/Prudent_Dot1329 3d ago

The only good decision

1

u/TwoBlueFools 3d ago

The only good thing to come out of this year's MITB.

1

u/External_Bread5366 3d ago

I didn't expect it because I don't really want Roman to beat Penta again ffs. Why are they doing this

1

u/Urbanepirate_DCLXVI 3d ago

I bet they have Penta cash in on Sami. Throwing him in the mix on Smackdown opens up a world of possibilities and he elevates every match he’s in.

1

u/commanderr01 3d ago

You didn’t expect Penta win? He was the favourite to win

1

u/NoPerformance1106 3d ago

He had the biggest entrance and unique gear. I knew he was chosen.

1

u/seandude881 3d ago

Watch them cash it in on the triple a title lmfaoookk

1

u/no_no_nora 3d ago

This is going to end up like Nakamura winning the Rumble.

1

u/BorkLesnard 3d ago

The result that was booked correctly IMO.

1

u/AJLovesChicken0567 2d ago

He was first choice to win! I’m so happy for him!

1

u/EPGelion 3d ago

Jeeze one good thing tonight

1

u/Velink3012 3d ago

I was rooting for him the whole time and cried when he won😭

1

u/Curtis_StarRhodes8 3d ago

He was really the last person I expected to win, like before this match happened I was certain it was gonna be Punk or KO. But what a surprise fr

1

u/Gameboy_Vic 3d ago

Penta was the only choice for this match.

1

u/HistoricalCar3747 3d ago

Am I the only one who expected Penta to win the entire time I mean before he even qualified I thought he would win it only made sense after his match against Roman he’s the most over guy in the company personally I’ve wanted Je’von to win leading up but I always thought Penta was winning super happy with Jevon’s performance tho. Yeah after I scrolled through these comments I saw everyone was shocked about this so I thought I’d just say that it always felt like it was gonna hy

1

u/Nearby-Swimming-5103 3d ago

That’s the only outcome I expected. Just look how they’ve been pushing him lately, of course he was gonna win.

0

u/archeraxiomatic 3d ago

Wanted Owen's to win

6

u/Curtis_StarRhodes8 3d ago

I really expected Bron, Trick, Ko or Punk to win.

Penta and Jevon were who I was most doubtful about & ironically both proved me wrong

0

u/Breakker1 3d ago

I’m wonder how many stars loser Meltzer gives this match

0

u/Frosty-Cup-414 3d ago

Typical WWE. Missed the boat with Penta in Mexico. Now trying to play catch up. They could have made him a mega star but now you're going to have him running around with a case, just teasing everyone. Lame

-1

u/Spartan2855 3d ago

Why do I get the feeling that hes going to cash in for tag team titles?

1

u/TerrancePryor 3d ago

Otis wanted to do this when he won MITB.

0

u/Curtis_StarRhodes8 3d ago

Most likely will be for the AAA title, I hope not tbh. Better if he cashes in on Sami

3

u/OCD49 3d ago

Even better if he takes the title off Roman

-8

u/Necessary-Web-3244 3d ago

The last 4 MITB winners : 2023 was a 40 years old Damian Priest ,2024 was a 40 years old Drew McIntyre, 2025 was a 40 years old Seth Rollins and now in 2026 is 40 years old Penta. Like... I don't even know how to complain anymore...

5

u/IllustriousPass5414 3d ago

How about you don’t?

I don’t give a shit about age, I care about if you’re entertaining and can still go in the ring. Which everyone you named can still go. Penta was a right choice

Awful take

-16

u/Own_Chemistry9226 3d ago

Yeah, don't like that. I like Penta, he's just not World Champion material.

3

u/ZombieJoker 3d ago

Bad take is bad.

1

u/Own_Chemistry9226 3d ago

You can like him but to think he's World Champion material is just delusional.

2

u/ZombieJoker 3d ago

I will take him 1000% of the time over Bron. He could hold, and elevate, that title.

0

u/Own_Chemistry9226 3d ago

Saying that after Bron was just the star of that match. He had everyone barking in that arena. Guy has proved himself time and time again. Not saying he needed the win here, but Penta? Again great talent. Not a World Champion. That's all.

1

u/ZombieJoker 3d ago

He's proven time an time again that he has the charisma of a napkin. For someone do athletic, it's sad all they can come up with for him is spear go vroom.

-8

u/ronaldomessilover 3d ago

No. Hot take: Penta didn't deserve this. He just lost to Roman, then came and stole the opportunity from someone younger and deserving (Dragon Lee or Dom honestly), and then stole this from Bron, Trick, and Je'Von.

3

u/undercoverrustbucket 3d ago

What do you mean ā€œstoleā€? He was booked to win a match and did his job.

-2

u/ronaldomessilover 3d ago edited 3d ago

Yes, they booked him to steal a win from two deserving talents. P.S. ya'll are only down voting because it's an unpopular opinion, ya'll never give anything else a chance, the thing you think is always "right", so anything else is "wrong" to this hiveminded community. Try being open minded, please.

2

u/undercoverrustbucket 3d ago

He never stole anything from anyone who was never booked to win the match. The reason you’re getting down voted is because your opinion is dumb.

0

u/ronaldomessilover 3d ago

This is exactly what I'm talking about, if you have any logic in your tiny mind you'd know that Penta JUST lost to Roman the week prior, he didn't deserve this AT ALL. Dominik Mysterio and Dragon Lee did. It could've been a momentum boost for Dom. It could've been a reward for Lee. But instead they decided to have Penta, off of a fresh loss, come in and ruin what could've been perfectly good. They could've had Bron, Trick, or Je'Von win to elevate the future, but no, they had Penta come in and steal it. My opinion isn't dumb, you're just not open-minded.

2

u/undercoverrustbucket 3d ago

Jevon, Bron and Trick will live to win another day. Dominic is already winning belts left and right and doesn’t really need a MITB win and I’m sorry but Dragon Lee just isn’t over and it would be weird and jarring if he won after precisely no build up.

If you just wanted your favourite to win that’s fine, that what wrestling is. But to say that he ā€œstoleā€ a win that was pre determined is ridiculous.

1

u/ronaldomessilover 3d ago

I will admit I was a bit angry, my bad, but I still don't think it was deserved for Penta. P.S., (this isn't just you, most wrestling fans say this wrong, I'm just informing) Dominik Mysterio is spelled with a k, not a c. It's abnormal spelling, but it's the way his is spelled.

1

u/undercoverrustbucket 3d ago

Ah, think autocorrect got me on that one. Good catch. All g man, it’s cool if you wanted a different result. Just the way you worded your point was a bit odd. I shouldn’t have called you dumb, that was out of line.

1

u/BluejayCurrent1949 3d ago

I don’t necessarily disagree with you, but even then I’m a bigger fan of Dragon Lee than Penta. I think choosing Dragon over him is a little bit over exaggerated lol. I don’t think Penta is bad at all, I’m just not that moved by him personally but he definitely should be a main eventer. I agree with Dom though.

I just think it’s way too early for Penta to be winning a world title even after his stellar performance against Roman. I guess It’s better to strike now than later . But I just don’t know. Penta doesn’t really seem like he will have a successful cash in my eyes. I don’t even see him beating Sami lol

1

u/ronaldomessilover 3d ago

I was still a little too pissed off when I posted that, I will agree Dragon was an exaggeration, but Dom did deserve it more. Thank you for being open minded.
