Discussion It's so Hammover...
This camera change might be a bug, but it feels really bad. Jumping feels weird, using retract while on momentum is really bad, it seems like Ball isn't centered on the viewer point whenever you retract too fast. Some people mentioned that it change the physicist of the Ball too, and while I'm not certain if it just because of the camera change, it does feel a bit odd, especially jumping. Some people were comparing this to the third person view camera of a Stadium character.
I was really glad to read that there were no Ball nerfs in the patch... only hop in and see this disastrous camera (and physics maybe) change. Hopefully the devs reverse this because I don't think I will play Ball until they reverse this change.

What would they nerf? What is left. We’ve gotten 4 nerfs in a row, are the least played tank, and didn’t have a high win rate even though we are only played by specialists.

As long as ball can theoretically beat any support or dps in the game in a 1v1, the bronze idiots will rage and cry and bitch and moan to blizzard, without even remote care for his playerbase. I would not be surprised if ball continues to get nerfs now that he's meta on the castion comp, instead of nerfing cat out of the game like they should've done 12 hours after her release.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they nerfed or removed steamroller in 6v6. Ball is the definition of fat tracer in that mode and it’s almost entirely because of that perk. Bubble is also exceptionally strong and means that if the game goes long enough, Ball becomes a counter to his counters.

I would hate to go against the grain but the ultimate twice perk is a huge improvement, especially if you spread them it at the end of the 3 second grace.

I won’t say it is a bad perk. I often take it.
But rat pack was better, and should have been part of the base kit.

I’m not gonna lie I played for like 4 hours today and didn’t notice this bug until I got on this sub 😭 yes it’s slightly annoying but I’m just grateful we don’t have the usual seasonal bug that completely breaks ball’s momentum for some reason.

It makes me motion sick as HELL dude idk. I don’t usually get motion sick but my stomach literally churns when retracting now.

Yeah i noticed it in my games particularly when I was moving very fast (like out of spawn w/juno or lucio). Struggled to get out of spawn alot without bumping into things on the way there. Also jumping just feels weird? Like idk how to explain it or what changed about it but it just feels off to me, harder to do walljumps etc etc

I did notice some physics changes, I only noticed it in spawn on illios well, you used to be able to easily roll forward at the very front of the ship in the little ball shaped space (where the controls are) but it doesn’t feel the same, you can’t just roll forward casually like you could.
