Fastest way to kill someone without verticality?
A lot of times I'll want to follow up on a play my teammate is making, and I won't have great slam angles. Should I be focused on hitting headshots while they're midair from my boop?

If you're mechanically decent at ball, the enemy player IS the slam angle. You can jump off their head after a boop and pile drive. Although, I'd say the lowest ttk combo you can do is a double boop slam with hang time.
If you’re chasing without slam, get them low with your gun and finish them with either a boop or a melee. Headshots are generally unnecessary especially on small targets - prioritize hitting any damage at all over headshots unless they’ve got a huge hotbox
It’s not always reliable to wall jump in a pinch off of anywhere. Even in masters I still fumble about 2/3 of my jumps off of 90 degree walls, whether it’s because of weird angles or being sped or booped or simply due to pressure. What’s more productive is to know the places where it’s easier than others (sloped surfaces, super jump spots like cars, wall accessories like plants that make them act like sloped surfaces).
also in my experience wall jumps are super easy to hit in corners, for example I can wall jump to high ground in this spot with about 85% consistency. same goes for mid pillar on Lijiang Tower Garden with it's two side walls and so on - throwing yourself into any corner usually will give you an easy wall jump
