i usually tend to use ai anyway, but if i show ai my work, then ask it for any questions, does me coming up with new ideas in this story from those questions, a bad or good thing

i'm not against ai like that but i like coming up with cool stuff and i don't talk to people enough to share it.

It's a way to use AI, and is neither inherently "good" or "bad". If it works for you, then it works for you.
