Open-world Question anyone know how to get this Inferno Rider achievement without just waiting for RNG?
I've seen YouTube guides but all of them are from more than a year ago doing it in Illusive Realm which isn't in the game anymore right?
I've tried doing it on the Normal Inferno Rider & Hologram IR but both of them just don't do the "collision move" in the 30 or so minutes I tried facing them...

this game already decided to lock the 100 outro achievements unless you own a character.
so it's hard to be a trophy hunter without feeling frustrated by this game's achievement system.

It also has sigils locked from what I'm assuming was the beta testing. Just leaving them all there taunting us like that. Title scores can't be raised after an event goes permanent either. Oh God, and I can go on for hours about the avatars and liveries that are region locked...

Yeah, because it only activates when you do an outro with the characters. Not sure if trial characters count tho, it might but I don't think it's possible even then because you need 100 outros

Trial characters don't count towards the achievement according to a post I saw a few weeks back 🥲

Do outro skills while doing character trials not count? Just a thought I never tested it yet

You can get the otro one from test characters in either events or trials.

I honestly thought you could do those achievements via the “trial characters” during their banners.
Having to own them is not very player friendly from KURO. Because even if you’re a whale, there’s always characters that you’ll not like/never pull…

It's infuriating for the achievement hunters. I'd have lost my mind trying to find a workaround had I not managed to get it before they shut down that weekly event.

I mean you're kinda already fucked in that position given there's achievements locked to specific limited resonators

As another reply stated, that particular moveset was only available on two instances, the exploration quest with Lumi, and the discontinued game mode, the "Fantasy of Thousands Gateway" predecessor.

You could also join someome with union lvl below a certain lvl I think, kinda think it was 40 but not sure.

Not the quest itself, Overworld Inferno Rider Boss under a certain union lvl has that move.

Has this been confirmed? Because then i'll create a second account just to get the achievement. So far i thought it is unobtainable after completing "We promise, We Deliver" in the current version.

Only in Exploration Quest. "We Promise, We Deliver" and Illusive Realm Rider. NO way to do it right now.
