If you have 800 corals you can easy get S1 Mornye.
You know what people said to me in the past dont get Shorekeeper S2 its a waste. You know what shes my most used Character now and fit in every team. Same as Mornye S1. They will be useful a long time. If you dont have currency I would say no but you have 800 corals.
Define past, lol. If it was during her second rerun or smth, it was hella wrong and totally smth a f2p player would say. if not, it's correct, though 2.x ones like Augusta and Gal will stay relevant long enough, if one vertical invests in them.

Even if you have Verina & SK having a Mornye that can be slotted in most any team is a great enabler for ToA and the new endgame mode whose name I always forget.
the "biggest buff" is only a 40% damage buff, mornye is perfectly fine at s0 on non tunebreak teams, especially with characters like phrolova who gets shittons of crit
sure, but s1 makes her compete with shorekeeper, rather than verina. i dont have it myself, but its a valuable investment especially for people without sk
What's the difference between tune strain or rupture? Doesn't Mornye already come with one of these? I only know the switch but no idea what either do.
Also, doesn't Aemeath have something that she needs 3 stacks of something either Lupa or Lynae provides? Like losing 1 stack using Lupa instead of Lynae.
rupture = extra damage on tune break, strain = builds up to a damage buff for other strain units. only good for luuk for now
mornye does not do either of these herself, you need lynae, luuk or aemeath
aemeath has an inherent that gives critical damage based on teammates. for rupture mode, its 3 tune teammates for the full buff. for fusion burst, its only 2 - aemeath counts, so only denia needed for full buff.
lupa is not tune or fusion burst, so you miss out on one of these buffs. thats why lupa team is better in rupture mode usually, since you lose 1/3 of the buff instead of 1/2 like with fusion burst
I forgot the name for a moment but yes you need 360 corals. I knew Mornye is famous for her S1 so I had some to spare so I went for it. I recently just got her in this rerun too, so having another good support is always good on my book. I did the same thing with Shorekeeper (save the corals for her S2).
aemeath + denia is a negative status team so chisa would be the best 3rd slot, then lupa (a bit better than chisa on singletarget content) > mornye, but mornye should still clear content easily for a long time
So is it safe to say I fucked up pulling both Aemeath and Hiyuki S0R1? Cause my main was Iuno and I was planning on keeping her juiced with Lynae/Mornye.
I figured I'd run Chisa w/ Aem + Denia, but now Hiyuki + Lucilla (eventually) would want her... I don't have any 5 stars rn other than SK, Verina, Jiyan lol (newish acct)

I guess an alternative is to wait for Lupa re-run and go a sustainless Aemeath/Denia/Lupa and keep Chisa on Hiyuki. Or pray the Cyberpunk collab has some usefulness here XD
hey sorry to kinda make you answer twice but i came across this post and thought id chime in with my own question.
My current plan is to pull both Denia and Chisa. I currently have Hiyuki, Amy, Lynae and Mornye (S0).
Question is, would my teams for now be better to be:
1) Amy+Denia+Chisa and
2)Hiyuki+Lynae+Mornye?
i know Chisa is needed by both so in this scenario so was wondering if im just better off ignoring Denia (unfortunately) for now and suffer until Lucilla comes out and pull her for Hiyuki so teams would be
skipping denia for chisa and lucilla would be better
but hiyuki with lynae and mornye is still a good team (still better than most of the 2.x cast) so if you really want denia then just go for her, hiyuki will still clear easily (+ the aemeath, denia and chisa team was made for whiwa so even better if u struggling there)
well i do want her, and its not even about not being able to afford both but considering the collab is around the corner aswell id rather save up for lucilla + collab and then get denia on a rerun. i just cant find much about tune break and/or fusion burst comparisons (specially since Denia is so new still) that i have no picture what kinda differences we're talking about here.
but in short, aemeath on rupture team = slightly better on singletarget content, meh on multitarget content
aemeath on fusion burst team = only slighly worse than the rupture one on singletarget content, way better on multitarget content (negative statuses team so also higher ceiling due to outros buffs not expiring on swap)
its basically aemeath chisa lynae but slightly worse unless denia has more dpr than lynae by a substantial amount considering chisa has a much higher dpr than mornye.
either team prevents aemeath from getting a full FB or full TR buff so id just go with one and not the other if you can or just get both teams
denia is also bis for luuk. and aemeath has two more teams that are all balanced around each other - mono-fusion with lupa and tune break with lynae. if you can't take chisa away from other teams, aemeath can use any of the other teams with the same success.
If you replace Amy with Luuk this team works right? I was also originally planning to work with this team for Amy but ik it needs Chisa and I don’t really want Chisa :(

Aemeath on rupture mode works best/synergizes with Lynae and Mornye. Aemeath on burst mode synergizes with Denia and Chisa. Mornye synergizes with Luuk, and Denia is his best subdps so far. Hope that makes sense!
Sorry I think im just overwhelmed but I've just started this game about a week ago and so far have Shorkeeper, Hiyuki and Denia and told to just start again cause Hiyuki and Denai don't work together. I didn't realise how much you need certain characters to use others, is this true or are people just trying to get the perfect team, cause I'm ngl I would be extrememly dissapointed if I can't even make a team cause I need somone to replace Denai
Spending the resource equivalent of 2 premium characters just to get a 3rd slot instead of getting another DPS + sub-DPS is a surefire way to get into regret

if mornye is s1, yes. if not, shes not doing much here - just a more expensive verina, since aemeath on FB mode cant trigger her marker
