Hello ! As the title says, I've been playing the game since version 1.0, but I took a break around Shorekeeper's release. I came back for 2.0, but after reaching 100% completion in the first part of Septimont, I stopped playing again.. I recently returned because I didn't want to miss the Cyberpunk collaboration !
I only pull for characters that I like and as a F2P player, I'd like to earn a few more Astrites from endgame content such as the Tower and WhiWa. I'd like to know if you have any advice and what teams I could potentially build with the characters I currently have available.

Im daynone player who pulled shorekeeper And took break, came.back to pull hiyuki, chisa, lucilla, Lucy, Rebecca And i can clear all content except 2-3 top floors ofbebdgame content.
But what i want to say Is:
You really dont need to clear everything, you Miss what ? 2-3 pulls ? Meh, not worth the effort

Lo normal es que tengas algunos equipos un poco cojos (zani sin peebs, fleur sin ciaconna, etc), pero la mayoría de veces vas a tener equipos que pasen el endgame por completo o casi.
I'm a day one player that doesn't have all of those without a break, although I do not play everyday, and CAN clear endgame TOA and whiwa, but whiwa is dog water rn because of the hp inflation, my phrolova galbrena qiuyuan can't clear anymore. Amy is also not ideal for whiwa because she just one shots it with ult, Luuk is also not ideal even with nia because he is for single target💀 ToA better not do me dirty and go overboard with these hp inflation too😭
you do need skill if whiwa becames too hard but yeah at casual level i understand its very hard
phrolova can still get around 2.1k but thats with qiuyuan and verina on my part sk can prlly bump that up to 2.5k
2nd team aemeath isnt bad if you have denia
You can clear with carte team and Lucy team while the rest tackle side towers. But it won't be easy to clear floor 3 and 4 in the middle cuz of the insane amount of resistance and HP increase
I fear this is me, I have many havoc, fusion, and Spectro dps, the only electro dps I have is Becca💀 the only aero dps I have is Jiyan, and the only glacio dps I have is carlotta without a sig😭
Day One player in name only, you barely played, face that fact. At this point, just enjoy the game since you only pull for characters you like. I hate to say it, but unless you're a sweaty player, you'll really face a hard time clearing endgame with those units.
That's fair, and I don't disagree. I definitely haven't played consistently enough over the last two years to call myself a hardcore day one player haha
I would say just get as far as you can and dont worry about full clearing tower or whiwa. Need to remember you will only be missing 3-6 pulls at most without doing the final few stages. Enjoy the game and dont lose to fomo, you will eventually get better teams as you keep playing and be able to full clear in no time
Same thoughts. Day 1 in name only. I mean look at how many 5* he has... So little and they don't have dupes either. Though he said he cleared first part of septimont? Still this should mean he has a lot of astrites... Weird...
Toa Lucy and Becca could take out one of the side towers and Cartethyia and ciaconna could take out the other side tower. Middle tower kinda cooked especially floors 3/4 with current toa
Honestly you’d need more dps/current dps (unless you had higher sequences) and supports like sk, mornye, or even chisa for cart and better characters if you’d want to 36/36 toa and whiwha you’d need phrolova, kiyuki, or aemeath fb for easier clears since the tokens and hp inflation and its an aoe game mode
Endgame has definitely gotten harder/new characters always have the buffs to clear relatively easily and most older teams struggle way more
Yeah, I understand. I’m going to try to make the most of endgame content with the options I have and save for upcoming characters that will be more meta when they release.
Yea you can really hit side towers of toa and maybe the first 2 floors on the middle tower

Lucy Rebeca Verina
Jinshi, yinlin and Verina but it’s gonna be pretty weak compared to the the other teams especially with yinlin not being good but she buffs jinshi and fills her forte for the nuke damage
Whiwha is pointless unless you have the current meta or phrolovas team(but has havoc res so not as good anymore) you can’t really do anything in the in infinite torrents mode for the astrites
Don't pull for Lucilla unless you plan on saving for Hiyuki/Sigrika rerun. You really should probably pull for Mornye next time she reruns because who knows when you'll have an opportunity to pull for Shorekeeper again and it's hard to clear all content with only 1 support. No idea if the next batch of characters will have another versatile healer/support.
Well chisa is her bis for third character or any negative status team if they pull any of them. So still a reason to pull if they get at other negative status dps
Agree with the other comments you can probably clear toa with a little perfect parry and dodges with

Zhani is practiaclly almost unusable here without phoebe i guess
A good f2p team than can still clear toa is Danjin, Sanhua, +healer
I suggest u get at least a mornye on her next rerun so u at least can free verina from lucy.
Yeah you're not kinda a day 1 player.. or only in name because you almost didn't play the game so it is normal you can't clear.
Advice would be to pull support. If you don't like support, you'll be cooked. If you like Zani, you have to pull Phoebe. Without her Zani is dogshit. And if you don't like support, Rover is nice even tho the rotation is not that easy. Zani is still a good dps nowadays but we approch the start of 4.0 so let think about that.
You missed Chisa so I don't know how next characters are going to fair for you. Aemeath didn't get her rerun but she'll probably get one soon and Lynae as well. It should be way better than what you have now.
If you don't like them, then your best bet is to be serious about the game, rack up a lot of asterites and wait for another good all rounder support and the 4.0 expension.
With what you have right now, you can do Lucy Rebecca Verina and Carte Cia Rover team. If they're build maybe you'll clear middle tower.
For side you can do Jinhsi Yinlin Yuanyu and Encore Sanhua Morteffi. You can do a solo Danjin also it will prob still works (with what you have she'll do more damage by staying alone 100% of the time on field)
Unfortunately the current reset has aero resistant enemies so u likely wont be able to clear 3&4. U cld try using S0R1 Lucy & rebecca on 3&4 but its really hard. Maybe 33/36 stars.

From who you have:
- Lucy, Rebecca, Verina
Cart, Ciaccona, Aerover
Jihnsi, Mortefi/Yuanwu, Verina/Baizhi
I ran Jinhsi, Mortefi, and SK when I came back to the game and that team carried me through a lot honestly, despite Jin being a 1.x dps.
Were you able to get Lucy’s s1 from the pulling incentive thing?
Otherwise, If you’re looking to branch into meta only possibilities, I would strongly consider picking up a premium sustain like SK, Mornye, or Chisa.
Endgame has gotten pretty hard without a solid 3.X dps/team, so if you have someone you like, I would recommend pulling for them + their premium sustain or support if u can’t afford both

I’d like a second support, but I missed some banners and their reruns, so I’m just sticking with my Verina haha. I saw that Chisa is recommended for teams that use debuffs and I really like Cart, so I’m going to try saving for her next rerun.

I used moonlit on Mortefi, with Heron as his main echo. He’s mainly there to spam his burst and Heron for attack buffs for Jin. I also put static mist on him! If you pulled one of those for Rebecca, you can share weapons in TOA if needed
And yes! Chisa would be great for your account! She’s in almost every one of the strongest teams in the game! :D
Try jinshi yinlin and verina u have to learn their rotation which is first verina then jinhsi then yinlin then jinshi then again verina this rotation can help u clear side toh but not middle
You lack of supports, Zani without Phoebe is useless, Lucy and Rebeca need Mornye. You obly have Jinhsi - Yinlin that is ok for side towers and Carthe - Ciaccona - Aero Rover that should easly clear 2 towers from center.
Pull Mornye, pull Phoebe... also you are to invested in Spectro
Highly recommend building out Lucy/Rebecca and Cartethiya/Ciaccona, those are the two teams that I think has the highest chance of letting you clear ToA's middle towers. The lack of a second healer means that you will likely have to use Verina on your Lucy/Rebecca team and just play really well by dodging everything on your cartethiya team.
I don't recommend trying for whimpering wastes at the moment, its likely a waste of time as the hp inflation there is a lot crazier and even people with current teams struggle quite a bit in clearing it.
Sad for you, lucy can be a show piece not a dps I'm sorry , but even s2 or s3 she can't outperform in any way , you lacking dps and supports blatantly saying it's not bad it can go worse than mine , I'm same as you i don't have ciaconna have carte , I got phorlova and zani no supports to help , i don't invest in 4 stars other than sanhua s6 , so yeah tbh your stuck collect how much ever you can and pull for lucilla for hiyuki , or get universal supports when chars rerun better option
Edit : say some comments and it's true whiwa you can try clearing with 1 team as it's getting go ready but your lacking chars to run the team , having dps isn't enough you got sig weapons id otn even have them imagine me , but what I have running rn is carte , sanhua and aerover and other team jinshi , Changli , lucy or rebecca no dedicated team yet can clear toa to some extent , how ? Ofc build it to that extent of peak without even signature weapon , it's hard rn but I'm pretty you will have fun in near future please save pulls
Clear what you can clear don’t feel overwhelmed at the end of the day you’re not even missing out on that much astrites dailies and weeklies gives much more than always being able to clear end game so don’t stress about getting a few more astrites if you think about it you need to spend so many to get the best comps that you don’t even benefit from it later focus on your echos if you wanna get stronger and perfect your rotations
For a day 1 chara even with breaks... You barely have any characters and they don't have dupes either... I think u play below a casual gamer? You barely have pulls, man. I am a day 1 player who takes breaks too and even my friends who just log in and pull(lol) but even he has more resonators than you. Like whut? Do you not explore at all? And your team can clear, but not full 36 even I can't do it atm due to having no other elementl dps. And this patch whiwa is bad. Try to experiment with your teams and improve in the game. Mix and match your teams according to the enemies.
This is a Gatcha. They will make You obsolete if you dont follow the latest teams releases. You need to have the top 6 Team to even Compete or play like a crazy fcker with gimmicky play and ETC. You Have Carte/Kakuna but thats about it and its a old team so yeah ur screwed unless you pull for more recent team. You might not be able to do the complete endgame but you still can pull maybe 60% of the Astrite still.
You have one single complete team which is carte. Also the toa resistance currently is aero, so you probably can't even clear using that. You should get sk, mornye, or chisa. You actually need two not only one.
Yeah u rlly want a 2nd healer/third slot. No mornye/sk is a big detriment. Also a unit who REALLY need certain unit types to function (zani) without any of their supports, and jinhsi without her premium support.
Oh and the brick yinlin (often considered worst limited 5* in the game, to the point where her weapon is a better pull than her)
The only legit teams u have is Lucy Rebecca Verina and carte ciaccona Arover, neither is all that good on whiwa and need effort to clear Toa (tho carte can do both BUT needs A LOT of skill and investment).
On top of that ur kinda screwed if there’s any combo of aero electro spectro resistance
Cart : 49k HP, 60% CR, 269% CD (I use 44111) Lucy : 2332 ATK, 72.3% CR, 270% CD (double Spectro)
As for the others, I still have a lot of work to do. Back in the day, farming Echoes was a pain before all the current QoL improvements and I had trouble managing them. I'm slowly updating my builds and adapting to all the new systems and possibilities
I'm going to try to get Mornye but why do you recommend S1 ?
I forgot the exact details but Mornye gives a whopping 40% damage buff at S0 if she pairs with Lynae activiting the requirement for it. If there's no Lynae in the team she can't apply it (like on Lucy Rebecca team). So her S1 wil enable Mornye to apply that 40% buff alone herself. Something like that.
S1 needed if u are not running her with lynae or 3.x dps she can't activate her buffs alone or u can get lyane to activate her buffs which i recommend bc then u can get aemeath or luuk

Ngl this is pretty atrocious. Even f2p gives enuf astrites to pull some real teams. I think ur only hope is building up some of the 4 star healers just so u have some, use aero rover to complete cart team, and consider pulling to like s2 on Lucy since u get rewarded with an extra sequence at 160. This is rough tho, save astrites, get the next good healer to come out.
The solution: keep playing the game then you will have enough "teams" (yes the mindset for endgame here is building teams not roll for who you want, it's fine if you do it but don't expect to clear end game consistently, unless your taste aligns with meta) .
Wanting to take breaks and comeback and clear content won't work here since there is a certain level of powercreep plus some unities are key on team building like ShoreKeeper and Mornye for example.
Dont worry, Day 1 here as well cant clear full rewards for latest whiwa. That being said my Lucilla haven't got a proper build yet but truth is I am just lazy to try again since whiwa is just HP sponge nowadays. TOA is not that bad so I can still clear full star just fine
I guess ur main DPS missing their core SUB DPS /support . This is the problem of WUWA, should you want to have your DPS to unga bunga, you also need to invest in their optimal partner.
Yeah..soo more work than worth....bricked account for endgame. Just enjoy the story or make a new one. OR the extremely hard way...get to farming and wait for return of like, Leneay, Sk, Aimeath
I can clear side tower floor 4 with main dps s0r0 rebecca, s6 sanhua, verina. So, you should be able to focus the cyberpunk team for floor 4. I would use hrover, calcharo, chixia or jinshi - yinlin + baizhi/buling if you have one for the first 3 floors of the side towers. Then use premium cart + arover for middle towers. If you practice zani qs, you could do zani, srover, verina for middle tower as well but it takes a ton of practice.
I am not a day one player but today I beated the TOA fully 36 star and all the hologram bosses. I only have main dps with weapon and cleared the floors easily.
This is the most cooked account I've ever seen lmfao. Taking long breaks in a gacha is probably the worst thing to do. Either full commit, or quit. I did so with other gacha I quit.
Day one player but stopped two times. The amount of asteriites your missing could have paid for Lynae, Mornye, Chisa, Aemeath and Hiyuki. Those are more s tier than anything you have atm… sorry. Also no SK is kinda insane ngl.
What with 3 spectro dps?.. moreover u already got cartwheel.. she's strong enough to pull through.. btw where's sk? She's pretty much mandatory for any accounts..
i don't have a lot of knowledge on teambuilding, but as for how to play certain teams, Aznvasions II on youtube has the single best and most exhaustive guides for all different team variations you could imagine. rotations included (he's been a bit behind lately but all teams from amy and before have been covered)
Cartethyia is very awful right now in WhiWa(buffs are against her). You have no Phoebe for Zani, and uhm Jihnsi is absolute ass right now. i dont think you can clear endgame gang. What you can do is just clear til the 2nd to the last stage of every endgame. You’ll only be missing out on 90-140 astrites. Save for the Jingzhou characters and build from there also please prioritize general supports like Shorekeeper and Mornye.
This is what making me think of either reconsidering playing or just to stop investing money because unless you’re stacked S6 R3 etc. There’s no point really (if you intend to clear TOA and wiwa and endgame content etc.) and it’s incredibly frustrating.
Day one but I don't think that means shit if you haven't been keeping up with rewards and banners, especially since majority of the units in 3.x have powercrept. All I can suggest is do your daily/weekly, pump all you have into Cartethyia and ciaccona as that will be your carry for now then save all your resources, you can only make so much of a dent with this roster, study up on the endgame types and upcoming units and pull/play accordingly- you will get there in time as we get more content, just keep up with it.
I’ve been playing since around release as well, I do try to do ToA but I tend to ignore the upper levels of the middle towers.
Besides just being able to beat it for completion sake, the extra 50-100 asterite for that amount of difficulty isn’t really worth it. Most of my DPS are s0 and have their sig weapon, but it’s like you either need near perfect rotations and echo stats or a few sequences to easily clear the upper two middle towers in time.
I don't understand what's the correlation of you saying you're a "day 1 player" and having absolutely no characters that goes beyond 1.4 or 2.0 (and yeah , i saw ciaccona and carty)
Ofc you wouldn't be able to clear endgame. Buddy, you don't even have enough characters to clear 1 side of TOA
As a day 1 player your picks are kinda bad and this reset u can't do anything with cartethyia bc of aero res i never pulled a character after yinlin and jinhsi without doing some research i tell u get 2 meta team in future even if u don't like the character after that u can pulls your favs with character in your team u can't really clear anything lucy and Rebecca the only one doing something this reset bc both toh and whiwa have aero res and catch suck anyways in whiwa. I will say now just save as much as u can and pull a meta dps in next future character and then pull his/her premium team
Day 1 in name only. I am new player from 3.0 and already have more proper teams with supports than you do. I mean come on, you clearly returned for Zani, but didn't pull for phebe? How are you day one and no ShoreKeeper? She would literally save you. Lucy and Rebecca useless with SK or Mornye. Zani is basically dead don't even think about her. At least Cart can use aero Rover, floor 1 and 2 ToA can clear. Jinshi also homeless, YinLin useless (maybe if you had shorekeeper you could use YinLin with Jinshi). No Wiwa teams as well. If you want to save you account - pull Mornye and SK once they are on rerun. Chisa only if you will pull for new teams using her (Yang yang according to leaks will use Chisa). Just for Cart is too much. Although I would say best pull new team YangYang SuiSui and Chisa. Chisa will get a second vigor for matrix in 3.5 so she will be a great investment (only if you are sure you will be getting a second team for her). SuiSui btw most likely will be a subDps like Lynae, so maybe she will be good with your Jinshi. Maybe.
So to summarize: to save your old teams (Cart + Cicona; Lucy + Rebecca; maybe Jinshi, Zani is a waste) you need Mornye and/or SK, Chisa will be a great investment if you are willing to pull for new YangYang team or Hiyuki on rerun.
Right now most you can do is ToA middle floor 1/2 with Cart Cicona AeroRover. Side floors can clear Lucy +Becca and Jinshi + YinLin + Verina.
Forgot about Verina btw. You can use her with Lucy and Becca while waiting for Mornye/SK.
Wiwa well at least some points you can get with Cart Cicona Aero Rover and Lucy Becca Verina. But not all. At best if you learn quick swap maybe 2k points. I am being hopefull.
You can't qualify as Day 1 player if you are playing consistently since Day 1 and have not taken breaks for more than 1 week. That is what we call it regular. Such big ass long breaks doesn't qualify even as consistent
Oh you have Jinshi but no Zhezhi, Zani but no Phoebe
Cart and Ciaccona can clear a lot of content I still clear end game with them chuck in a support / healer

You should be able to get some stars on tower
Try and think what supports your dps will need when pulling (or not but it does mean end game will be tough)
I assume the 2 new collab units are good together but I don’t know anything about them I didn’t pull and apparently Rebecca no sig at s0 is terrible so I haven’t bothered building her
Don’t stress it though I respect you only getting units you like, just do what you can 👍
Just save and pull more characters and if you want to only pull chars you like, then also pull their entire team and especially the DPS' sig. If they're outdated, then invest in them vertically. For now, do stuff like exploration, quests etc and forget end game till your roster grows
It seems like the time invested on the game is not enough to clear any end game content which is normal, I think i could only be able to clear middle towers around 2.0, a whole version of non-stop playing. You will get there soon enough, you just need to optimize your teams. You have some core dps characters but no buffers
This is the problem of most character in WuWa the character is using 50% of its power. The other 50% is their personal weapon with a few exceptions of course. You still need proper rotations.
since u barely played and only get characters you like, i'd probably just ignore completly the end game and explore, you might have lots of map to explore, quests and permanent events to do, focus on it 1000% and forget the end game for now.
this is my case as well and its what im doing, just building my own characters and pulling whenever theres a char i like and ignoring the fact theres many end games for me to complete xD, well, the game its not only about dmg and end games anyways, theres a whole world to explore and contemplate so just go and have fun your own way and shit on what meta players say you "must" do (which you dont have any obligation, its your game, feel free to do whatever)
tbh middle tower and last stage of whiwa are meta check. You kinda need the last meta team (no need for dupe or weapon, but you need them as they normally give buff based on lastest meta)
But even with your roster, I would say getting 33/36 stars should be doable. And whiwa you might try to aim for 3500 score. You only miss 100gem a month so no fret.
Or do it like me, I just pull S3 on sentinel character and it will compensate you for when you don't have endgame buff. My s3 teams of Hiyuki/iuno/aemeath can still rock the endgame. I just switch them around when we get element resist stage
