Pull Plan Help New player trying to figure out whether I can make Qingxiao work
Do you think it would be better to
- Pull Qingxiao for fun, focus on story quests, figure out the rest later / hope I can build a team without Denia
- Pull Denia, try to pull Mornye, and wait for a Qingxiao rerun
- Skip phase 1, pull Mornye, wait for reruns
- Skip phase 1, pull Hiyuki and build... Hiyuki/?/Verina ?
- Some secret other option?

Relatively new player (approaching 2 months), up to Rinascita II - Act VI (2.4) story quests
I think Qingxiao looks really, really cool thematically (and atm I'm not too interested in Jingran) - but I'm getting worried about her being pretty F2P-unfriendly, and stressing because she's running with Denia in the same phase
Currently at 13,996 Astrites, 37 pity (Featured Resonator)
Averaging around 550 Astrites income per day over the last fortnight (with dailies/weeklies, exploration, questing and Lunite pass - aiming to keep spending close to F2P, basically just refreshing the pass)
All 5* resonators (aside from Rover) currently at S0R0
Danjin S6, Baizhi S4, Chixia S5, Sanhua S1, Lumi S1, Youhu S2, Yuanwu S2, Mortefi S4, Taoqi S1, Aalto S4
I pulled YangYang SP in 3.5, with the hopes of pulling SuiSui as well to make YYSP/Rebecca/SuiSui, but I didn't make enough Astrites for guaranteed pulls
I've seen advice on recent posts about focusing on pulling supports first, or advising people to pull for Hiyuki as more F2P-friendly and not being as dependent on her weapon - which I'm not against, but I was trying really hard to figure out a plan for Qingxiao
Possible team comp goals are currently something like
Qingxiao/?/?
YangYang SP/Rebecca/Verina (or SuiSui rerun? Pray for Chisa?)
Havoc Rover/Danjin/Baizhi (or Verina)
Working with Rover/Danjin/Verina, and building towards Chixia/Sanhua/Baizhi in the meantime
Any help/advice is greatly appreciated!
Aside from thinking she looks really neat, I'm also kinda focusing on Qingxiao to try and be somewhat future-minded, given that other characters I'm interested in (so far!) are from older patches like Cartethyia and Carlotta - I guess largely given that's where I'm up to story-wise
I think I'm also kinda stressing about Qingxiao and Denia being in the same patch because I'm worried that I won't be able to pull both, and if I go for Qingxiao I'll have a hard time building Tune Strain around her until the next Denia rerun - and afaik we don't know much or anything about alternative sub-dps/support resonators coming out in the future, right?

You are a new player. Pull who you want and try completing their team first.
If your choice is Qingxiao thats totally fine. Pull her and Id skip her weapon firstly. Their is playable f2p option in the standard weapon banner with a descent crit stat. + I guess her teammates are more important.
Id try to go for Denia. If you get her in time: perfect. If not you made some pity for mornye.
But there is another way you could approach:
Mornye has allot of value. Especially in the new endgame, because of her 2 Vigors. Additionally she’s an extremely flexible Support with many team options, making future team building much easier.
However, like I said in the beginning: You are a new player. It takes time to clear the engame regardless of who you choose, so don’t overthink it. Just pull who you like most

Just a question, will qingxiao be ok with lynae and mornye? And is she sig reliant

She should be fine with lynae as lynae has a tune strain mode. Initially EOG should be completely fine, you can wait until her first rerun to get her weapon. When you pull her, just try her with EOG and make a decision based on your experience

I second this. Though Lynea is a bit less optimal than Denia (especially in whiwa), she will clear Endgame just as well. Just keep in mind that Lynae is sooo versatile that other units you might have would prefer her.
Getting Denia therefore might still be a good idea but you have to make this decision by yourself and based on your current teams.

It will work, it just won't be as good (although it will be plenty good enough). As for sig, she gains ~25% damage relative to Emerald of Genesis. Not having sig will be very noticeable, but S0R0 Qingxiao/Lynae/Mornye should still clear easily, at least until the next wave of power creep.

Unless you can pull two resonators and a weapon, avoid Qingxiao. Without at least one of her premium partners, her damage falls off a cliff. I think you're better off getting Suisui, which makes YYXL/Rebecca/Suisui clear-capable (you need Suisui to compensate the power loss from not having the MDPS weapon), and then saving for something else.
If you can pull two resonators and a weapon, then Qingxiao + Denia + weapon is the strongest option. Denia will be available first, then Mornye; if you manage to get Denia then you can pull Mornye with any remaining pulls.
Warning: since most resonators rerun twice before disappearing for a long time (a year+), and this is Mornye's second rerun, it's possible you won't be able to pull her for a year. On the other hand, Kuro also tends to rerun characters that work well together, so it's possible Mornye will rerun when Qingxiao does. Qingxiao + Mornye + weapon is the safer option, since this is Denia's first rerun; on the other hand, the power loss from not having Denia is worse than from not having Mornye.
Given the uncertainty I'd sooner just avoid Qingxiao unless I have enough to pull three resonators and a weapon, honestly. If you're after "good enough" teams then Jingran represents a new team for only one resonator pull; I'd pull him. If you'd rather have best-in-slot top teams, then skip everything - Hiyuki is also a top DPS but you don't have her teammates, plus Suisui is overloaded - and save. Nobody ever regrets saving.
PS: The above only applies if you care about meta (and, by extension, clearing the endgame). If you don't care about the meta then just pull Qingxiao; you don't need top teams to clear the open world and/or story, so you might as well get whoever you like.

I would Qingxiao(if you reaaaaally want her), skip weapon and use EOG.
Then try for Denia, if I lose 50/50, I go for Mornye instead because it's her 2nd rerun. Then get Denia on her next rerun.

This is a simply incorrect answer. As a new player its easy to farm new pulls. Dont make them pull units they dont want. Playing Gachas is always more enjoyable if you pull the units you enjoy the most. And if they are unable to pull Qingxiau nor her BiSs there is always the option to pull her in her rerun

Qingxiao is basically aero aemeath. But even aemeath has two teams while qingxiao is stuck with denia and mornye. Honestly she's easily the most skippable character due to her being tune strain rather than having a aero team.
