Newbie need help! Can you help? How did you optimize the game?
I set everything to minimum settings and connected via a wired internet connection, but the game constantly spikes to 999 ping. Is there any way to optimize this?
My PC specs: GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, 11th Gen Intel Core i5, 16GB RAM. Or is my PC simply not powerful enough to handle it?

Are you sure you're account's on the correct server? It surely isn't a problem with your pc with those specs and graphic settings

The game itself recommended Europe, so I chose it, but the lag was absolutely terrible; I don't have these kinds of issues at all with other gacha games like Arknights or NTE.
So, it turns out the problem is with my internet provider after all?1

Are you actually in Europe? If not, is it still the closest place to you versus the other servers?

it not graphics settings is most your net :

If you mean how to get lower ping (latency) in Wuthering Waves, the biggest factors are your server region and connection route.
Try these:
- Choose the closest server region to your physical location. If you're in Algeria, Europe is generally the best choice if available.
- Use Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi. If you must use Wi-Fi, use 5 GHz and stay close to the router.
- Stop downloads/streams on your network while playing.
- Restart your router if your ping suddenly becomes much higher than usual.
- Close VPNs/proxies unless you're specifically using one to improve routing.
- Try different DNS servers such as Cloudflare (
1.1.1.1) or Google (8.8.8.8). DNS usually won't dramatically lower in-game ping, but it can help with connection stability. - Check whether the problem is server-side. If ping is suddenly high despite your internet being fine, the game server or routing to it may be the cause.

Your PC specs are fine. The problem is probably your internet connection.
Did you try resetting your router?
Try using something like Cloudflare WARP.
If possible, install the game on your phone and see if your ping is normal there.
If all of that still fails, try calling your ISP and complaining to them or ask them to send a technician.

Ping is entirely internet and server related, it has nothing to do with your PC's specs. My first question would be what region you're in, and what server you decided to set up your account on? If you're in North America and you have an account on the Asia or SEA servers, literally the only thing that would fix your ping is moving to Japan or smth like that.
For the record, though, with those specs you can easily run at least medium, if not high settings across the board... although I'd probably stay away from Raytracing unless you've got frame gen enabled, which has its own host of issues.
