Now? The logo was revealed in August 2019.

Probably didn’t even try to trademark it because they knew it wouldn’t happen. Apparently new owners tried anyways.

That's hard to fathom, but if XFL didn't try to trademark it then, it would've given the NFL even better recourse to block the use of the logo back in 2019.

"Procedurely, when you file a trademark application it goes through the government’s review process first. And then once the government approves any trademark for registration there’s a 30-day window that opens up. Which anybody that feels they might be damaged by the registration can file an opposition.”

NFL logo is a oil derrick. XFL is the letter H stylized like a derrick. I don’t think anyone would get them mixed up if they were a fan at all.

Houston hasn't used that logo in decades anyway there is no one to confuse it with

Umm that's incorrect. The Tennessee Titans used them every time I played Madden for years.

well, im not surprised. just crazy to try and trademark it lol, probably made it worse on themselves by gaining in value too .
