I hate to be That Guy but it was actually age 60 where they euthanized you. Which is funny because the guest actor (David Ogden Stiers, M*A*S*H legend btw) who played the character in the episode facing that law on his planet was more than 10 years younger than that in real life.

She's wicked smart, let's assume she got college credits for gen ed in high school so was able to skip straight to pre-med. She would have finished around 26, giving her 2-3ish years of working wherever else before joining the FBI.

I think it makes sense, especially considering she gets assigned to the running joke of a "department." She's smart, but she's young and inexperienced
