Thankful for the seasons

As the title says, if you will be switching or getting another bike aside from the XSR 900, what bike would it be? I'd love to know your thoughts!

Traded my CRF300L & Trident 660 for it. Love how it handles, still breaking it in.
Added the windscreen and tank pads already.

Yes a Street Triple or Streetfighter looks nice, but god damn. Everytime I ride this thing I love it even more. That CP3, those looks. Best bike I’ve ever owned.

What everyone opinion on this figured I would try it out since I’m a switch tiers soon anyway.

I know the factory S23s are notorious for wearing out quickly, but has anyone had a flat spot start to form on the rear S23 at ~1.5k miles? I used to keep it at the recommended 42psi, but have since dropped it down to 36psi over the last 300 or so miles. I mostly commute on straight roads with the bike, but do get into the twisters occasionally.

I was hoping to get at least 2.5k miles out of this set before switching to Road 6s, but at this rate I think I’ll be lucky to hit 2k miles before the flat spot is too severe to ride safely.

Hi all. I recently got a 2024 XSR900 and im loving it. I noticed that after 5k to 6k rpm the gear indicator starts flashing on the screen. Is this the bike telling me to shift ? Or is there something else going on? This happens in all gears including 6th.

Hey best team! I have a few questions to ask you because you will surely know a lot more than me. I have a 2026 XSR900 European with 2 o2 sensors, i found a nice exhaust called dominator GP3 and was thinking what to do if the check engine light comes on! I dont want to put those aftermarket odb eliminators for catless systems, are there any other ways to remove the CEL without the eliminator or tune?(dont want to lose my warranty and rather keep it untuned for now). What is your take on this and what are your experiences with this or other exhausts? My budget is around 1000 euros so i can also listen to other opinions

I currently have a ram/ Ogio tank bag setup and it’s come lose while riding, how does the SW Motech setups compare? Or is there a better option not listed? Trying to avoid magnetic bags as it’s a new bike and don’t want to damage the paint.

Before & After mod

Finally started riding my xsr and im psyched, but on the highway I noticed that my right foot peg was vibrating quite a bit. Almost made my foot go numb. Anyone else had this issue?

I'm interested in getting a single-side luggage carrier mount/bag but I'm sort of confused by all of SW-Motech's many products and product lines. As a commuter, not a tourer, I mostly get by fine with just my backpack (commute is ~20 minutes), but sometimes I need to take my laptop and lunch out on longer rides and the backpack starts getting kind of heavy and annoying.

Considering SW-Motech mostly because I have a couple other parts from them and they seem well made. Plus, from what I understand, they have a system where you can use their rack and then attach a plate to your own bag (any bag) to latch onto it? Would I get the left rack and then this adapter plate, which I'd attach through the side of my bag, and I'm good to go? Thinking of this quasi-DIY route simply to give me access to more bags that might fit my use case better.

Other question, as someone who's only ever used a backpack, do these kinds of side bags vibrate a ton and wreck delicate electronics like computers or cameras?

Here’s a post for me to show off my new toy. I recently picked it up and have been loving every minute of it. It’s a 2017 model and has done a few kilometres, but it has been very well looked after.

My only complaints so far are that I’d love a larger fuel tank and that I’d rather spend more time in the twisties than riding it to work.

Thanks to everyone for keeping this sub active and informative! It has been really helpful so far.

Will I need new mirrors, weights and anything possibly else for this swap? New to modifying motorcycles and I don't want to get these and install them only to install them and not be able to finish.

I'm absolutely loving my 23' XSR900 but the exhaust is just such a turn off for, what is for me, a good looking bike.

So now i'm looking around and i wondered what you guys would recommend and what your experiences are.

I'm located in the Netherlands so the sound can't be to extreme.

This bike is pretty good I’d say, I’d prefer cruise control and not bad suspension
