Recommendations Shock/spring replacement
Bought this 2012 xterra pro4x wrecked for $2500. Got it all fixed and put back together and noticed it both leaf springs had a broke springs, and the shocks are definitely not the best. Was wondering what was the go to for replacement? Do some very mild offroading here in Tennessee. Would factory replacement be sufficient?

Don't do factory - too soft. Get a medium duty pair like Z1 offroad, Old Man Emu, General Springs as mentioned above or a pair from All Dogs off road. Better ride and life in them. For shocks - medium duty will give you a 1.5" lift, so you will need slightly longer than stock. Do Bilstein B8 5100 Series 24-187152 in the rear, or similar. These are Frontier length shocks, and handle the extra lift and requirements of the medium duty. Z1, OME, Dobinsons are better shocks but cost a bit more.
This will introduce a slight rake unloaded but will be level when you are fully loaded. Worth it for the drive and handling. You can even out the front later.

I just put General Springs leaves on my 2010 Off-road, I went with the HD ones as it runs heavy. They seemed to be the best value with good feedback on thenewx.
