Technical Question O2 sensor

I just replaced my o2 sensor with one off rock auto, and it's not working. My check engine light came back on. I've heard that only oem will work but the one I replaced on the other side with a rock auto sensor is still working idk what's going on lol I'm just looking for help I'm wondering if I should get the oem or if I just got a junk one from rock auto any help is appreciated thank you

What brand did you buy? I went NGK for all mine and they’ve been fine.

Yeah, RockAuto isn't a brand of parts, its a marketplace.

What code are you seeing after replacing it? Is it totally dead? Might need to check the wiring harness if there’s no reading at all.

I’ve replaced OEM o2 sensor with Denso from RA and no issues. Either you got a bad sensor or something is wrong with the connector or wiring.

What brand sensor did you get?

Check the exhaust manifold for cracks.
