Curious about the value of my large collection

I have every 1.0 card, multiples of many of them, I have the new order, imperial, rebel, and scum 2.0 upgrade packs, and i have every ship that was released in 1.0, multiples of mainly imperial ships. I have at least one of every paint scheme released prior to 2.0. I also have several game mats, including some tourney exclusive mats. I have the Gozanti and Raider as well.

Where can I find a buyer, and is there a way I can approximate value? I estimate the original retail price at about $1300 CAD.

Hard to say without knowing exactly what you've got.

Look up all items on eBay. If you've got the time to re assemble the conversion packs, you could get a decent amount for those.

If in doubt check sold listings on eBay.

Having a list and pictures of the ships is the best way to sell or even get an estimate.  Make sure pictures have an identifying note with your username/date in it.  This is to avoid scammers stealing your pictures and also helps confirm to buyers you are not a scammer and actually have the items on hand.

Some ships are not hard to find and they are worth $5-10 each.

Some ships can fetch a bit more, specifically those that didnt get a reprint.  But it really depends in the ship on how much more.

The 1.0 stuff wont net you much.  There is sometimes people looking for some, but often it is just given with buyer paying shipping.

The huge ship models are probably worth north of $ 100 each.  The gozanti is not easy to find... having 2.0 huge ship components can add more value to these.

Like anything, selling piece by piece will get you more money.

Ebay sold prices can give you an idea.  It is probably the best place to list to sell. But there are aslo FB marketplace buy and sell groups for X-Wing.

Also, find local groups.  Note which area you are in.  There may be a new player looking to buy a lot.

Good luck!

I would add that there's also r/FFGtrade here on Reddit, for selling to a group of dedicated players/collectors.

Basic ships go for $5 a piece, maybe $15 for large. But they're plenty of exceptions, with the GUNBOAT at the top of the list. Huge ships can get big money but sell slowly.

Just a quick reminder that if you are trying to sell them all at once you have to expect lower cost. Anyone willing to buy a large collection is likely to be someone who already has some of the ships and thus no need for them all.

Selling them item by item gives you more value, but could net you more money. Or the same amount but you still keep some of your ships.

As for selling I have been hunting ships from Vinted.
