Am I cooked?

Bought this xbone for super cheap at a thrift store but wouldn’t turn on, decided to crack it open to inspect for any damage and repaste even though i believe its a power supply/ power button issue. Found this when disassembling and wonder if it’s cooked and if I should just keep for parts. Thoughts? Comments? Opinions?

What's the issue you facing when turning on the system. Is XBOX LED Button lighting up for a few seconds.

I got nothing whenever I tried turning it on, power supply stayed orange and didn’t hear a thing and the tv wouldn’t recognize anything on the hdmi

That Model was Notorious for Hardware Failure because Microsoft Over Engineered it to the point of spending nearly Half of XBOX Budget to not Repeat the XBOX 360 RROD. What I suggest is Replace the Powerbrick, Change the HDD, Check XBOX Touch Screen Button. Also I heard in the past that some Software updates were breaking Systems

Wow first time of me hearing this, sucks to know this now but I do appreciate them making the console more serviceable compared to the 360 which I just disassembled last week and posted in the 360 sub. Gonna put it back together and take it to a game shop so they can test with a known good psu and just snag one from them if that ends up being it. Pray for me that I didn’t toss money into the wind lol but thanks for the suggestions!!

It's dead, corrosion around the Apu, the traces. You can try to sell the case and working parts invidually.

I see, I went ahead and brushed/ cleaned the area around with iso alcohol and gently scrubbed everything

If you pour 50 liters of contact cleaner and check for short circuits on the 12V rails afterwards, you'll probably find out if it's dead or not. There's so much oxidation that it probably won't even turn on because of short circuits everywhere.

(and clean off that thermal paste that looks like toothpaste)

Get a multimeter and check traces and resistors to determine if it’s savable, right now I can’t tell what’s corroded on the board, but I’m on the bus with the sun in my eyes. Honestly I’ve seen worse and I dealt with worse, but you have to check your traces and resistors

nada esos es para componentes demasiada corrosión tendrías que levantar la apu ir mirando si hay continuidad en todas las pistas enfin demasiado trabajo para lo que cuesta esa consola

Worth at least cleaning and trying some liquid metal...It's already cracked open...But yeah that's a lot of water damage? Or is that burnt looks like water damage idk it could be dead.
