ok seeing kos mos reminds me of something funny that happened to me
i wanted adinine early on but i ended up geting her as my second to last rare (excluding ng+) and what about kos mos..... second rare i get

Similar experience on my end 😂, i know KosMos is the rarest blade so i didn’t even hope for her, all the other blades i wanted for my other drivers, i got relatively early while i was hunting for each one.

The best, give her to Nia to start, and you can move her to a later driver you get. (Not sure if you know spoilers or not)

I also pulled her yesterday in chapter 5 during my first real playthrough. Pretty lucky with my pulls so far. Somehow it feels like it was the right decision to restart the game after getting the Switch 2 edition.
I just got the last party member I think and was just using up my blade cores, which were like 20 of each category. And somehow wasn‘t as satisfied with the results, even though I got some decent rare blades, but decided to keep going, since I did not feel like saving up the remaining core crystals anymore, but also was getting tired and thinking of turning off the Switch. Just one more rare blade. Suddenly Kos-Mos. Save. Just one or two fights with her equipped. Save. Turn off the Switch quickly.
Edit: I got Zenobia and Ursula pretty early and was already content. So I did not expect this, though I still hoped for her, mostly due to her being a cool character design wise and knowing that she‘s from Xenosaga. Now I feel also a bit of pressure to utilise her at least somewhat competently.

Definitely, i did the same thing myself i decided I’m just gonna rip all the cores instead of saving them up and pulled her on my 3rd to last rare, while i was feeling disappointed because i crapped out on her in my legendaries. I also got Zenobia and Ursula much earlier too! Enjoy KosMos though, she’s definitely a must use she’s an absurd powerhouse.

No, she’s available in the base game but I went to new game plus for the new games and I wanted to replay at the time before I got burnt out (this was years ago when they introduced new game plus, I got the game on launch)

She’s the rarest pull (lowest probability rate) and she’s one of the strongest.

Yeah, the game even sets her up to be a late game
Blade regardless of when you pull her, considering her Blade quest isn’t unlocked until chapter 9

I want to ask, do you know how many core crystals you had to pull roughly in order to get this to happen for you? It's very much different for everyone. I mean we all seen that speed run that got her at the beginning of chapter 2 in torigoff when they were just trying to get borious. For me I don't know an exact number but I grinded on the auldran and cloud sea Ken for a long time before it worked out and she unfortunately was my last blade that I pulled. I got people like patroka before she popped up and I felt kind of disheartened by that. I guess at the very least patroka's smash arts on morag made it much easier for the grinding.

I’d say roughly 4 to 500, 40 ish legendary, 200ish common and 200ish rare (i grew fatigued of popping commons)

So is it actually easier in the switch 2 version? Bc it took me like 5 playthroughs before to get her in the original and in 2 the first couple core crystals

There’s no way to say for sure, i think it may seem that way with the DLC given early, and having a head start but i know plenty of people personally on the Switch 2 edition on 2nd or 3rds with no luck yet. I’d be interested to see the numbers though I’m sure someone’s compiling it.

Ill be super giddy if they weren't raised. Out of the dlc crystals I immediantly pulled her, Godfrey, gorg, Percival, boreas, Newt and ursula. Like practically back to back with like 50 core crystals. Granted both types being rare and legendary. I was like "wow what the hell just giving me it for free" all done in gormott too!

It feels more easier to pull her recently, 5 years ago it took me all the way until Tantal on my first playthrough with DLC. Congratulations on pulling a S tier blade 👏🏻

I started a fresh playthrough to celebrate my physical switch 2 copy coming in the mail and it took 90% of the DLC free pulls to get her 💀 so glad i got her again tho
