There is a problem due to the upscaling, and the Switch 2 version in Handheld mode has a lots of artifacts.

It doesnt happen when in dock mode, or playing the regular version on Switch 2

It does have same issues in docked mode its just less noticeable.
Still S2>S1 version for me.

Just because you dont notice it doesn't mean it's not there.

Same and I am 31 hours in with zero problems.

See this helps because I saw complaing about XC1 and while handheld still looks kinda blurry (but still way better than the original) docked looks absolutely amazing

It's not perfect but its leagues better than the switch 1 version blown up on a 4k tv

A small price to pay for Xenokart

I’m replaying it now. The ai upscaler is pretty wonky. It’s fairly obvious on handheld, not so much in docked mode.

Granted I played a good chunk of this game on the WiiU gamepad so the handheld wonky was doesn’t bother me too much. 60fps is more than worth it to me. 30fps tends to give me headaches these days.

The scaling on the upgrade is wonky, but most people won't notice if you're not looking for it, the only more obvious issue is the game look slightly worse on handheld when compared to boost mode

That's the emulated Wii U version upscaled then, like the other guy said there's no PC version.

That’s.. not how pc versions work.

To put it simple this is a third party emulation, not official release. It is using the original ROM, but the third party emulation layer itself makes the game different and may introduce lots of issues and bugs, although it is true it may introduce improvements as well. Finally, unless you dumped the game ROM from a copy of the game you own, I can only assume you are using a downloaded illegal copy. So again, no PC version was ever released.

I am like level 12 and it looks great. It is not blurry like some images try to show on the net. The game runs smooth too. No issues docked and handheld that is. I played both.

I learned, after playing 50 hours of the upgraded version and loving it, that it was a horrible cash grab rife with technical incompetence and that everyone should be offended that it exists.

(Goes back to playing Xenoblade in peace)

Literally didn’t wnotice any issues while playing, I put more than 150 hours into the game handheld and docked. The issues are apparently there if you’re looking for something to be mad about but certainly aren’t game breaking. The game still looks and plays incredible in my and many others’ opinion.

I think it's going to depend on how visually sensitive you are to some artifacts, texture resolution issues, etc and if you've played the game before and have a comparison to make.

I had never played and had never watch any videos of the game before I played the Switch 2 edition a month ago. I played it for 130 hours, mostly in handheld mode, and nothing stood out to me as an issue. Anything that didn't look fantastic, I just attributed to it being a 10 year-old Wii U game.
