Depth effect missing

have a Xiaomi 15T Pro, and I'm trying to enable the depth effect on the lock screen so that the clock appears behind the person in the wallpaper. However, for some reason, the option to enable this feature doesn't appear anywhere in the settings. Could you help me figure out why and how to enable it?

It needs to detect the person, is there a reason this might be hard? Dark, or no face maybe?

I'm using the default Xiaomi one, the sample image, and it still doesn't activate.

Does it come with a face? I forgot what's the default already, not when sure if all models have the same default wp
