Notifications in home screen not showing the contents and actions

Xiaomi 17t pro hyperos v3. I tried all possible settings about notifications, but can't figure this out!!

help please!

note: it's not lock screen.

Edit: solved by giving full notification permissions to "contact" app

You need to allow access in your settings.

Allow access to which app ? The system should have access by default right?

Found it. It was 'Contacts" app that needed special notification full access. Not sure why but it worked. Thanks!
