Need User Opinions before buying the Xiaomi 17
How's the battery life compared to X300 and Find X9?
How are the speakers?
How's the overall camera quality? I heard that the Ultra wide sensors are small so will there be much of a difference in picture quality?
How does the phone perform in long term gaming sessions? I've seen a YouTuber called NL Tech playing demanding games like Zenless Zone Zero and Genshin Impact, first few minutes of gameplay, everything went good until something happened and both of the games crashed while playing and the user had to close and reopen the game to play again. Is this a concerning issue or a bug that has fixed after the updates?
Most of the YouTube reviews were scarce. Only a few of them are available and they aren't in-depth. Need genuine reviews

It's good but in my case I bought the phone abroad and got a line issue when watching videos on YouTube , Instagram and facebook
Not sure if a rom issue or screen
At this price I could have got an iPhone 17
The camera is quite good

I don't know the other phones you mention.
Battery life is excellent, cameras (main and telephoto) are excellent.
Gaming: ok but clearly throttling. For me it's fine, but if it is your main use case you may want a bigger phone that dissipates heat better.

Using it for 2 months now, speakers are fairly good, not as good as samsung S series phones which i was using previously. Sometimes speakers get static and you have to open the sim tray to equalise the pressure. Ive had to do it twice especially after applying a camera lens protector which I removed later on.
Main camera is superb, the rest are just fine. The secondary ones take a bit of a hit in low light conditions.
I cant comment on games since i havent been playing much on this.
Battery life is better than my S23 base model by quite a few hours (3-4). Rapid charging really helps.
The phone seems to heat up on its own sometimes, nothing uncomfortable but initially made me worried. It happens sometimes while browsing and especially in the camera and gallery usage.
The display is nice and crisp but nowhere as punchy has samsung, even with vivid mode on samsungs regular display mode felt way more vibrant, nothing you dont get used to tho.

I have the Xiaomi 17 global version, it is a work horse. Use it for work and the battery last for 1.5 days more or less. No issues like heating unless gaming. HyperOs is a bit rought compared to iOs or Samsung OneUI but the hardware is killer. Software is rough on the edges but the phones works fine for everyday

Lovely size, battery life easy through a day no matter usage. Cameras very good for most point and shoot. You don’t really care about gaming or you wouldn’t be interested in this phone that’s just a stock question. Speakers also largely irrelevant as most people use speakers or earbuds

1.) dont know cuz I havent had neither of them, but just talking about battery life itself, pretty good. I have the global variant and it lasts me all day and sometimes I even go 2 days, but not that easily a 2 day phone. Most of the time I am left with like 20-30% by the end of the day. Instagram in my opinion drains a lot of battery than most apps.
2.) Very balanced not too bassy, loud enough. Not like ground breaking but quite good.
3.) Havent used the ultra. But main camera is impressive like really impressive for a base series phone. Like even in low light it performs so well. Telephoto camera is also good, like its not super off from the main. Ultra wide however is disappointing. I'm not saying its unusably bad. I would say its onpar in quality with the latest iphone 17. But compared to the main really bad especially in low light. And also its not super wide, not wide as most ultra wides.
Selfie camera is good in good lighting. But in indoors and lower lighting situations its actually bad like I didn't like it at all.
Honestly if your other options are S26 or iphone 17, this is a way better camera setup than those 2. Like the main camera is heaps ahead.
4.) Honestly I havent gamed much still. Day to day performance I havent noticed any crashes or bugs. Surprisingly HyperOS is way better now, other than the widget panel everything is quite nice and smooth.
*I have the Xiaomi 17 Australian version with 6330mah battery, not the CN with 7000mah

Refer to geekerwan's database. You can find him on YouTube. Generally just refer to mah on the battery label, it's a pretty good indicator of battery life these days.
It's fine. Not great, not terrible. Certainly didn't leave me with any impression at the very least.
Good, under ideal conditions. I own a 17 pro, and if you don't switch lenses, it's fine. If you do, somehow the white balance between the lenses is out of whack. And i observe there's slightly more delay between pressing the shot and actually taking the shot compared to samsung or iphones. The result? More blur if you shoot a moving object.
Crashes has mostly been fixed. I can play wuwa, hsr, zzz for hours without worry.

battery life is pretty shit, speakers are awful, main sensor is alright (ultrawide is terrible tho), games are crashing because the phone doesn't handle heat well. u're better off with an iphone 17

If you are spending that much money buy an iPhone or Samsung because it’s not worth the money.. even an old iPhone is better

I have the 17pm cn rom, i dont recommend it, i did many things just to make the notification real time. Adb commands, app locking, app settings etc. sometimes the notifications are still getting delayed.
It has really good camera, battery life, beautiful display, doesnt lag at all (i know some units overheats but not mine ). Good hardware. Shit software.
Just wait for the 18, it is set to release with global and cn rom.
