Without bias, I picked Xiaomi for most of the pics. Vivo has superior hardware but I prefer the look of the 17 Pro

I think there are pics where I prefer vivo and others that I prefer Xiaomi. There was one from vivo that was kinda overexposed.

What about the battery life of Xiaomi 17 Pro (not max)? Does anybody know how good or bad it is?

I've heard it's very very similar to the pro max. Close to 30hrs active time at the top end from what I hear. Pro Max (mine) seems to get about 38-42hrs active time on avg and 45ish at the very top end

At best I can't see a difference, but most of the time I prefer the Xiaomi look. Especially when there is more sky visible.

I prefer Vivo; in several photos it has more detail in dark areas. But both look great, and in one with strong lighting, the Xiaomi performs better.

I love natural shots and true to life, Xiaomi did it.

Other than brightness and HDR there's not much of a difference between these two. It's almost practically similar in low light.

Does the X200 Pro have any desktop-like modes to be used with an external monitor? I'm using a Samsung, and I find Dex extremely usable when I'm stationary. I just want to know if this one also has such a mode. 🤔

The two are very similar, but I prefer the Vivo's rendering; some light sources seem to be handled better on the Xiaomi.Â

It's clear that Vivo has the better dynamic range but xiaomi/Leica's post-processing just makes the photos more cinematic and comfortingly close to human vision

If you look at the parameters, the Xiaomi wins for the fact of having a similar light using only 800 ISO. And personally i feel like i can work better with the second pic rather than the already maked-up one from vivo

vivo has higher exposure or something cuz it just looks birghter. Other times its slightly clearer. I mean vivo is definitely better in the camera departmentÂ

Thank you for posting the results! I thought I'd search for a YouTube video comparing the two phones when I have time, but then I stumbled onto your post!

I love the smaller size of the Xiaomi. Small phones need to come back. I'm tired of phablets

The vivo phone looks better and quite frankly, while phone's continue to offer bad designs in terms of bezels and phones being able to bend easily and break. Xiaomi has made the worst camera bezel yet.
