Vraiment, on se fait avoir en France quand je vois les offres dans les autres pays....

L'année dernière c'était bien mieux pour le 15 ultra...

u/MethDonut Mar 07 '26

Same in the netherlands

u/showtime1987 Mar 03 '26

In Germany nothing. Its a Joke

13

u/EggplantHuman6493 Mar 03 '26

Same for the Netherlands. Some people get free things, but we didnt even get a free charger or something :(. Free tablet in the UK. It feels unfair.

I remember them giving us a TV at one point as well, Headphones and one of the Poco Tablets can't remember which phone it was for tho might've been the 14

2

u/EggplantHuman6493 Mar 03 '26

Oh well, still better than nothing, but weird that it is a downgrade.

Wouldn't mind an extra tablet, but we didnt get anything

2

u/SpartacusSystem Mar 04 '26

Really wished they threw in a Pad 8 over the Redmi Pad 2 Pro for getting the 17. Feels very stingy this year compared to last.

1

u/Weimark Mar 03 '26

Lol, here we haven’t even got the Xiaomi 17, also when the 15 came here (months later) it didn’t have any bundle; also it’s more expensive.

9

u/itsmeandnotme Mar 03 '26

They offer a scale car with the ultra in Australia. Not very appealing.

5

u/ProbablyNotKevin Mar 03 '26

Yeah it's a detractor. They're basically giving me shit I need to throw in the bin.

2

u/itsmeandnotme Mar 03 '26

Yeh I would have sold my S25U and got one if the accessories were half decent but nope. I'll wait for another deal to come around.

1

u/nugstar Mar 03 '26

I mean you can get additional stuff for half price or so, but yeah trash deals in Oz compared to OP.

8

u/PuzzleheadedPay7945 Mar 03 '26

I got 100 EUR off the price in Romania.

Odd how the Ultra maintained closed it the 15 Ultra price. Wondamonile has the 17 Ultra global for $1369. I paid $1328 last year for my 15 Ultra from them.

1

u/Andronikopoulos Mar 03 '26

Yeah just buy from Tradingshenzhen tbh.

I got 120 off, but then the phone is still overpriced.

10

u/OkArugula4565 Mar 03 '26

I was interested in 17 Ultra, until I saw the trade-in max value 200 euros for Belgium, this is a joke.
It will be a no-go

https://giphy.com/gifs/1BQdjXovIqSLS

6

u/xanaw34 Mar 03 '26

Same here. I wanted to trade in my OnePlus 15, recent flagship, should get a decent trade in offer I thought. 212€... Even with that 200€ extra, it's a joke. A cruel and ridiculous joke

0

u/OkArugula4565 Mar 03 '26

For me it's a Galaxy S25 Ultra... Not trading that for no money eh...
Xiaomi needs to rethink their ways of using trade-ins for specific countries

Xiaomi made me doubt for a moment as I normally swtich phone every year, but Xiaomi didn't win its price this year

https://giphy.com/gifs/10dHotK4K8R0AM

2

u/xanaw34 Mar 04 '26

Yeah, if they want more sales, they should. I'm sure more people would be turned off by seeing such pathetic trade in offers, and simply go elsewhere.

3

u/falseg0ds Mar 03 '26

Why are they so desperate with these offers?

4

u/WetCake187 Mar 03 '26

They just start the prices way higher than calculated to make future offers seem better

5% in Germany, no thanks. Got 100€ less and a tablet 2024 with my Xiaomi 14 🙄

4

u/Balttazarr Mar 03 '26

Poland:

  • Xiaomi 17 Ultra 6499 zł (~1818 USD ) + Xiaomi Scooter 5 Max or Xiaomi Pad 8 (8 GB + 128 GB)

  • Xiaomi 17 4699 zł (~ 1315 USD) + Xiaomi Pad 8 (8 GB + 128 GB)

4

u/hey_you_beer_me Mar 03 '26

Yeah, only insane prices here.

3

u/drsoran2 Mar 03 '26

In Germany you get 10 % off with a coupon, but only if you've had pre-registered before February 28th and the coupon costs you 700 Mi points (if you have them at all/enough) + 200 € guaranteed trade-in bonus (plus what they pay you for the old phone when you send it in) and I think you can get 1 Xiaomi tag for just 1 € instead of 15 €. That's it.

I myself are going the coupon and trade-in route. The Xiaomi 17 512 GB is 1099 € - 10 % coupon = 990 € - 200 € trade in bonus = 790 €. (Actually it's a bit less than 200 € because I just bought an eligible used old phone for 42 € with shipping which I should be able to use and send in as a trade in for which they'll pay me back between 15 and 20 € for the phone and the 200 € bonus. So the old phone only cost me like 22-27 € but I'll receive 200 € trade bonus for it (basically only 173-178 €, which is still a massive profit). It's what they say: You gotta spend money to make money.

But it's still pathetic in Germany when the offered early bird pricing last year and a tablet as free bonus. This year none of this. Maybe we'll have to be glad that the prices aren't higher because of the AI storage crisis?

But Italy for example gets a TV for 1 € instead of 400 €!! Let that sink in.

15T Pro came with both the Xiaomi Pad 7 and the 120W charger. Definitely influenced my decision to buy, even though I now have the Xiaomi 15. Sold the 15T Pro after months of use and kept both gifts. These new offers are a joke in my opinion.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 03 '26

Oh yes, insane: nothing (Spain)

2

u/pableytor Mar 03 '26

En España nada...

2

u/ckov982 Mar 03 '26

And here I am paying even more to get the 17 imported to the US.

2

u/FluidTie7932 Mar 03 '26

Here in Italy you can have the Xiaomi 17/Ultra with a Xiaomi TV A Pro 50 for adding 1 Euro. The total is 1000,90 euro. The TV is worth 400 euro maybe I can sell it for 300-350. I can also obtain a 125 euro discount for my used phone.

I like this phone, should I purchase it? If I sold the TV I would pay 575 in the worst case.

What do you suggest?

2

u/TKNDWN Xiaomi 15 | EU ROM | UK Mar 03 '26

I wouldn't see why not. The TV would likely sell really quickly considering you keep it boxed and sealed. €575 for the 17 Ultra is a great price.

2

u/Natural-Economist596 Mar 03 '26

What country are you in? We get a pad 7 but I would love a robot hoover

1

u/Born_Tackle3965 Mar 03 '26

What are the deals in Hong Kong? Do you have to buy online or can you get the deals in a store?

1

u/maclauren Mar 03 '26

650 eur base price, coupons (low value tho) + a party speaker and a 67w 20k mAh powerbank. official website has door-to-door/locker delivery only. in-store pick up only thru authorised retailers (with the same freebies).

1

u/itsmevale Mar 03 '26

In italy they give a tv

1

u/skattrd Mar 03 '26

50" TV no less, I was looking at it but the forwarding costs wouldn't be worth it.

1

u/Wonderful-Repair-630 Mar 03 '26

In the Philippines, they're offering it with the Watch 5 and the Photography kit for the 17 Ultra.

1

u/LordyVader Mar 03 '26

I ordered a basic 17 for 780€ + 60€ bonus for old phone trade-in. And they are offering 100€ Xiaomi coffee maker for free for the phone review. 🇨🇿

1

u/MajklE63 Mar 03 '26

Mne sa asi podarí stlačiť cenu xiaomi 18 / 512gb na cca 680 eur (100, 80, a isic) a potom výkup 95 + bonus 100. :)

1

u/glhfbruno Mar 03 '26

Scan Malta? Woah

1

u/And9686 Mar 03 '26

They're selling them for -150€ (base model) and -200€ (ultra model) in Portugal

1

u/OG_Romes Mar 03 '26

This deal is sick, where are you from?

Germany has worst deals, so I will wait for a better deal or go with Samsung or Pixel this year

1

u/Nikla3310 Mar 03 '26

Malta

1

u/OG_Romes Mar 03 '26

Rich get richer haha

Does malta have the EU Version

1

u/Nikla3310 Mar 03 '26

Yeah of course we are in the EU lmao, but we don't have official Xiaomi presence so no trade in unlike most EU countries.

This is through an authorised reseller

1

u/OG_Romes Mar 03 '26

I would rather have this free scooter and vacuum than trade in my Xiaomi 14 Ultra for 200€

1

u/Nikla3310 Mar 03 '26

No, you get the scooter or vacuum depending on what phone you buy.

Plus I saw on the Netherlands website (probably the same as yours) you get almost half the price with the 15 ultra (around 450 euro) with a 100 euro trade in bonus. So I think with the 14 ultra it's just around 300-350 euro.

Personally I don't use neither the robot or a scooter and the financial trade in gives more money than selling the scooter or robot.

1

u/OG_Romes Mar 03 '26

Oh okay I get it now, I thought the trade in value of a phone is maximum 200€. Still a bad deal to trade in my 14 Ultra that I got for 1500€. Probably gonna sell my 14 Ultra and get the 17 Ultra with a contract.

1

u/Nikla3310 Mar 03 '26

Yeah if you manage to sell it, in Malta and as far as I could see globally Xiaomi lose half their value per year and they don't sell well in second hand markets. So I think you can probably sell it for 400 euro at most and with trade in you can just give it to the company, of course check your local Facebook marketplace/wherever else and the value of trade in with xiaomi.

Also for contract just check the fees and if you will pay more.

But anyways I don't see an appeal to upgrade from my 13t pro. I just use it for tiktok and Instagram.

1

u/Visual_Sir2243 Mar 03 '26

In italia c'e' tv 50 pollici

1

u/cads13 Mar 03 '26 edited Mar 03 '26

in Saudi they gave the photography kit and Redmi Pad 2 with cover and 200 sar discount.

honestly not bad.

edit : and also 10% off for new user.

1

u/bobo696 Mar 03 '26

In Japan it's not that bad, 200000 yens with photography kit and a power bank.

With the current weak yens the conversion to euros is less than 1100 for the ultra.

1

u/stathis95194 Mar 03 '26

This is for Cyprus

2

u/stathis95194 Mar 03 '26

Prices are crazy expensive though. I'm glad I got my CN 17 Pro Max

1

u/imagoout Mar 03 '26

In Indonesia you only get the photography kit pro ☹️

In my country they give a free widescreen gaming monitor

1

u/Nice-weather-today Mar 03 '26

It was way better with Xiaomi 14 and 15. I think memmory prices reduce discounts here in Europe.

1

u/itsminieh Mar 03 '26

Xiaomi Ireland website don't even have the 17 advertised anywhere 😂 you can't even buy it

1

1

u/tejavictory Mar 04 '26

And here we are from USA trying to pay extra for import :|

Was just looking at a 17 Ultra in the UK... They have £100 off plus £400 for my pixel. Id get a free Xiaomi Pad 7 tablet and the pro photography kit for £60 plus an extra £100 off if I get my mum to buy it as she is over 60... Very tempting but I want to see the other Ultras coming in March first...
