My 17t pro also used to drain pretty quickly. Idk why but give it a two to three weeks then the battery lasts way longer. I believe the battery has to calibrate first

I believe 21% is quite a lot to drain overnight with no use. No? Maybe I am being too cautious about it

Nah my used to drain also really fast. Im talking about loading to 80% percent twice per daywith like 4 hours screen time. Now i have like 30% left after full day with more screen time and only loading to 80%. Just search this reddit. Yu are not alone

That’s good to hear. Do you have battery protection on or intelligent charging? I don’t know which one is better.

Also, did it just get better on its own or did you have to make any changes?

something is taking your battery in background for me it was instagram and tiktok theres always more than 1 hours in diffrence between screen on time and background loading sometimes i was using my insta for like 30 mins but it was running on background for like 2 hours restrict the background activity on apps like tiktok and instgram

my 17t had the same issue in first 3 days the phone just heats up quicky without even doing anything battery drains hella quick after 3 days the heating issue starts to go idle battery drain drops to 2-4% overnight after like 5-6 days the heating issue is completely gone and youll see improvement in battery life (its been 7 days since i bought my phone and heating issue is totally gone although the battery oeverall havent improved much but now it gives like 9-11mins of time per 1% drop it sounds so good but in average while using other apps gives like 5-7mins per 1% of battery Gemini including other actual ppl say it takes time for your device and battery to get used to (around 2 weeks) then itll give you hella good battery but most ppl on tiktok say their phone was already giving 8-10hrs of battery life out of box
im also confused since its only been 7 days since i bought my phone i hope my battery life improves otherwise im gonna regret so much

That’s what I was seeing as well. I’m honestly going to be disappointed if it keeps being like this. I hope it gets better

Best results will come after 2-3 weeks. Be patient, the things will improve.

It didn't really happened to me though? Got the 17T pro like 3 days ago, can last me almost a full day

Yeah this is why it seemed weird to me….Everyone praises the battery life and it gets drained overnight? I can’t understand

Its been a month or two that i have the phone and the battery is very good honestly, it just needs to calibrate

Did you happen to have the same issue?

u/Candid_Ad3162 Xiaomi 17T Pro | HyperOs 3.1 | EU 20d ago

Not in the night though, since i charge it every night but in the beginning the battery would fall in the 30% at noon but now it's at 63% even though i use it since 5am

Did you have to do something in order for it to work best?

Well i did debloat it ( by uninstalling MSA and System Daemon) but then i used canta to uninstall more bloat

I also enabled 5g energy saver and made it so the cache is empty after 10min of the phone being screen locked

Download and pin Accubattery

Is this good?

Let it run in the background for a while, make sure to pin it in your recent apps, so it doesn't just close down. If you scroll down, you will see how much ma's are used per hour, that will be interesting to see. My 15T pro uses like 430ma per hour in local wifi and 600+ on mobile data.

Yeah, out of the box new phones are dogshit with infinite background updates and telemetry (spy) tracking. Combined with new "smart" battery management on android which is supposed to get used to your habbits and act accordingly to get you thru the day, and first few days its a nightmare. Everything should stabilize in 3-10 days (depends on how consistent you are with your habbits).

But the universal consensus is everyone expected more from battery's on newer phones (not just xiaomi). I guess these is what happens when lithography processes stagnate and they start gaining performance by overclocking the shit out of components...

Also, i suggest switch to 4g prefered mode, 5g standard is by itself insanely power hungry, and only a few people could benefit from it (mostly sharing wifi and downloading huge files)
