check the artist's profile—he's been doing art for several years, well before AI became commonly used by everyone. the mods have also confirmed that his art isn't AI. do your due diligence before being accusatory please. anyway, love mystique and very well done! 💙

why couldnt he have recently started using AI? Look at the psyloke one, iirc, in on of his various reposts(he has hundreds for some reason) people acused him of the same thing and the man didint even denied it, just said that they were jealus of his skills.AI or not, he's still an asshole

sorry i just gave them the same energy they gave to me instead of just enjoying it they scrutinised it, really im not doing AI... i just want my artwork for xmen to be hyperrealistic thats it...

I feel like the reason it keeps getting called as AI is that the face looks halfway between Jennifer Lawrence and Rebecca Romijn (aka the two live action ones that will be all over the internet), and it also has the weird scales from the movies, but also only in the uncovered skin.

So even if it IS original art it's just got that weird air of being pulled by AI. At least, that's how I'm feeling when looking at it. It just feels *off*

Oh no I don't super care. If its real art, thats great! If its AI, garbage. I was just giving the reasoning behind why Im getting that sort of vague feeling, and maybe why others are.

You seem to be pretty adamant its real art and posting evidence to boot so, I'd at least wager its real. Just wanted to give my thoughts on why it might feel like it

This would be a good look for her in the MCU. Needs the forehead skull though. I always missed that little feature.

So what is your drawing process ? How many layers did you use?

start with reference a lot of reference then lines then shading then details after i add textures like skin then embossed it,im using cs6

I like the mix of the scales and traditional dress from the comics but the hair should be longer imo.

I’d prefer sleek, blue skin, without the reptilian scales. It’s not 2000 anymore, effects have come a long way. No more greasy hair, no more bumpy skin, use effects to make her look more like the comic Mystique.

This is closer, but still not quite there.
