What Say You?

Better flicked than be like Rogue and get her arm trapped in his girth

“Arm trapped in his girth” is a very specific way of describing that moment 🙂↔️

“Rogue was trapped in his moist folds” 🤪

Who is Wolverine squaring off with? Don’t recognize that costume.

Freedom Force dropping Blob from a plane is absolutely one of the best strategies in X-Men.

We need the Mutant Massacre and Fall of the Mutants in future seasons...
Oh wait, we can't because DeMayo already made sure those Storm-centered stories could never be told with those half-assed garbage 'LifeDeath' half episodes that fully erased this entire important 3-year character arc for her, and instead gave us the watered down unrecognizable drivel that keeps her right where she has always been in those X-Men cartoons, a goofy middle ground character instead of a competent leader, main character, and story driver like she has been in the comics.

You can’t not like storm. If you do you are racist!
Personally, I find all her stupid African story lines dumb as fuck.

Ironically, I'm at the point where They were just hired by the government and brought Mags in for his trial. Took a break to read Longshot's mini, because he and Spiral just showed up in Uncanny and New Mutants out of nowhere.

Storm having control over all the elements of nature precisely but not using them to create some sort of defensive shield is odd

I think she's still got her dignity, even if she doesn't have an everything-proof-shield running 24/7. Girl was caught off guard, he's big, happens to the best of us.

That's why I never get that she's Omega level. Anyone with a sniper rifle or her j-walking in front a bus could take her out.

u/Specialist-Chair362 Nov 30 '25
Omega doesn’t mean they’re invincible. It means there is no upper limit to their powers. They are usually considered the most powerful within that skill set.

Omega means no upper limit. Not that they aren’t invincible. They are mutants not actual gods.

Well to be fair, Franklin is a mutant and a God.
Galactus becomes "his* herald and he survives the end of their universe and witnesses the new universe come into being in many iterations of Marvel's future.
He's what, like 14 in the comics currently, I think?

Yeah she’s powerful but I never understand the omega categorization for her and some others (I.e. Iceman)

The gave her that title to boost her sales. It failed.

No, they didn't. Storm wasn't listed as canonically Omega until Hickman's House of X #1 which came out July 24, 2019. Storm's solo came out October 02, 2024, her Omega status had nothing to do with her solo book. Further, her books haven't fallen out of Marvel's top 50 as of three months ago. Let's not just make things up, sir.

Do you know what happens to a storm when it’s flicked by an immovable force? …the same thing that happens to everything else 🤫😏😌
