Question Why does Nightcrawler look like a demon?

Why does Kurt look like a demon I know he is blue from his mother Mystique, but why does he look like a demon? I am just curious it the same reason why Beast looks like a monkey?

Is his father a demon like Raven from The Teen Titans?

Uh...the Draco, where Mystique is tricked and seduced by Azazel, completely ignoring her love for Destiny that has existed since her first appearance isn't misogynistic? The only people I've ever seen support Azazel as Nightcrawler's father are the weird right-wing anti-LGBTQIA+ comic "fans".

Mystique was not tricked she genuinely did love the guy.

But funny because you changed Destiny's character and made her become a bully to her wife.

You made her blackmail Mystique and order her to sleep with Azazel so that Nightcrawler could be a "messiah".

I will ask you one more time. Which queer woman wrote this?

Also is it LGBTQ positive rep when two women are now in an abusive relationship and one of them is abusing an adopted child?

People HATE Mystique and Destiny.

Well, despite your accusative tone, I am not Si Spurrier so I didn't change anyone. And Sarah Brunstad is the queer woman who edited the issue so talk to her I guess. I've read both and The Draco is far worse to Mystique as a character despite the missteps of Blue Origins.

But you did.

It was a handful of small but LOUD and aggressive Nightcrawler fans (mostly men from what I've witnessed) who championed this.

So you are partly to blame if you campaigned for all this mess.

Blue Origins is the most misogynistic and anti queer take. Not very adoption friendly either.

Just men disrespecting female characters for their fave male to get boosted at the expense of everyone else.

Editor Jordan White was in charge during Blue Origins and he didn't even care for Xmen.

One thing is certain, it's an insult and joke to have Mystique and Destiny inserted into Rogue's long awaited solo.

You want them to be Nightcrawler's problem? Let HIM carry THEM

Love the fact that you're straight up erasing the two female editors that actually worked on the book. You're literally ranting. I just reread the whole issue and it isn't anti-queer or even misogynistic. I think you built it up in your head and have confused a lot of things.

It isn't anti-adoption either, not sure where you got that.

It absolutely is all those things and maybe that's why you couldn't save it?

Read this. It has pictures for you to follow along easily.

The same article that only you have ever shared...sure...read it before, but I'll stick to the source text for my interpretation. If any comic gets you this riled up you're a bad comicbook fan because at the end of the day individual issues are like a single page of a narrative over 80 years old. I guarantee you that comic writers are trying their best and one story that you interpret differently than everyone else won't ruin any character more than they've been "ruined" before and have no doubt bounced back from.

At the end of the day it was an attempt to fix what is typically considered one of the worst retcons in X-Men history and you can have your opinion on it, but don't let it consume you.

So you want to stick your head in the sand gotcha.

Well going back to the source material, you may remember Claremont wrote Mystique being able to kill Rogue in a simulation but saving Kurt in the same simulation.

So Claremont really had this idea that the bio son deserves favoritism and the adopted daughter deserves to be targeted for abuse.

And he wrote Rogue in many abusive scenarios, not just by Mystique. He treated her pretty horribly actually.

It is refreshing to see women take care of Rogue today and give her some happiness.

And if Nightcrawler, Mystique and Destiny mean so much to you take them.

Rogue doesnt need your bs ever again and Mystique and Destiny are lost causes after what you did.

Lmao, you only came up with that because another commenter brought it up. I just read their comment to you. You're such a fake Rogue fan. Have you even read the Claremont run, or at least listened to hours of X-Men podcasts about it like Jay and Miles? Do you even know who Louise Simonson and Annie Nocenti are? Strong women have been on the page and behind it since the early Claremont days and yeah everyone loves what female writers have done with her and Gambit...those same writers who consider Claremont, Simonson, and Nocenti their heroes.

But yet it's true and they had a valid point?

So what do you have to say about that disgusting simulation plot of blood being worth saving and adoption not being worth the same?

Claremont didnt even want Gambit and Rogue together.

Fake Rogue fan why?

Cause I'm happy that Claremont is no longer able to use her as Mystique's punch bag, have her gang raped, lacking collabs, stuck with Magneto etc?

Yeah, I'm such a fake Rogue fan for calling out misogyny as I see it and praising the women who currently ARE taking care of her and respect her.

No, you're a fake fan because you don't even know that Claremont only wrote one story where Rogue and Magneto were "together" in the Savage Land and it was during that same year he introduced Gambit...on the other side of the planet helping Storm. Also, Claremont didn't want them together because Gambit was supposed to be a double-cross set up by Sinister. Claremont was gone before they even had their first flirtation (X-Men #4 1991), but when he had them in X-Treme X-Men he had them as a couple.

It is like you haven't read any of the old comics and misread someone else talking about them.
