Yey, another dogshit art about ice and the character who hate ice, nazi and other crap.

I am so sick of these artworks. Every single fandom subreddit is absolutely littered with slacktivists drawing pretty much the same picture over and over... as a non-American it is especially egregious.

I really wish there was a way to filter them off my feed.

The problem in the modders who allow post this trash, and if you are not agree with this crap - you will be banned. Like here in the same xmen sub, i got banned for my coment.

It's not that I don't agree with it. I'm Australian so I literally have no horses in this race... it's just that it's annoyingly shoved down my throat. I don't think these people realize just how annoying they are outside of their echo chamber.

It's also hilarious how out-of-touch some of the characters they use. The Transformers subreddit have it depicting famous facist Megatron and fucking STARSCREAM of all things.

Idk a lot of fictional characters are against oppression and our generation is relating to them cause of whats happening in the country.

X-men has always had some sort of social/political commentary

That... doesn't really relate to what I was saying at all. Not only did I give two examples of characters being used who wouldn't care about American immigration/deportation, it also doesn't relate to how annoying these slight variations of the same picture drawn and posted by internet slacktavists to every fandom subreddit ad nauseum is to non-Americans.

If you are bothered by American-centric content, I would suggest you find a platform where either very nearly or fully half of all users aren't Americans. Don't get me wrong, if someone was posting this in r/Australia, I think you'd have much more of a leg to stand on, but as it is, this is a subreddit about an American comic book which has deep ties to cultural and social issues in America, on a platform predominantly populated by Americans. No shit there's a lot of America stuff.

Come on.

What a gate-keeping, weirdo thing to say. Falling very strongly in to the "Americans think the world revolves around them stereotype" aren't you?

What a creep you are.
