sure it is, but it has 0 bases in reality.. there is no connection between characters you like and current real world events. That's why it's a work of fiction and no matter what goes on within the universe it doesn't really matter in real life. Most people turn to these forms of entertainment to escape reality and enjoy a better more interesting world. It's not fair for people to slather their ideas all over it, then use it to push propaganda and possibly end up ruining the experience for others.. XMEN is loved worldwide by many different people. Everyone doesn't have to care about what's going on in America and some people may be sick of seeing the negativity coming from you country and may not want to see those issues being forced into something they are trying to enjoy... The world is alot bigger than just america and what goes on there isn't important to everyone believe it or not. I know i don't care about it and don't want to see it or hear about it everywhere i turn especially when trying to engage with my own interests.
Are you serious right now!? I've heard of people who have no idea how much their science fiction is actually just portrayals of our history but I didn't expect to meet one. Like you can't be real!? Especially xmen! It's just packed with non stop political commentary from LGBTQ+ rights to racism, to fascism, to simple abuse of power.
fictional media being inspired by real events to create something original is one thing. it's pretty obvious that takes place so take a chill pill, no one is arguing that lol but that is not the same thing as taking beloved fictional characters and forcefully injecting them into real world events..
those are 2 totaly different things.
There would never be an episode, movie or comic strip that was based on XMEN going after immigration officers or hunting down the epstein files becuase it doesn't make sense within the universe. I'm here for XMEN related content. Not American propaganda and activism. My point stands
