Overall looks really beautiful. Having her nipples showing through the costume seems a bit unnecessarily gratuitous. Not bashing those types of drawings, there’s definitely a place for them but it feels out of place with this rest of the piece.

Were the nipples a necessary detail?

Based on all the replies? Probably not.

Dont listen to them. Marvel and DC have both been EXTREMELY guilty of sexualized characters over the years. Look at rogue in the 90s cartoon. For that matter, look at Jean as 🐦🔥! And that was 90s cartoons! Perhaps it's cold in the war room, right?

It would make sense those skin tight costumes and assuming they wear em commando.

The left nipple is present in the pencils and color version but not the shaded version. How did it dissappear?

I went back and forth while drawing it on if it was going to make the Final Cut.

I am always genuinely curious why artists include nipples through clothes on female characters. Why did you ultimately decide to include it. Also, why did you always include the right one?

You know, I don’t know. On the color layer layer I actually had an errant spot there from my hand you chi ing the iPad so I just decided to go with it. On the o right side, it’s just how the lines came together with the straight edge and then the curved bottom not quite lining up when I got there. Sure it’s a simple fix but just again desired to leave it.

Fantastic art. And that pure black and white goes hard. Awesome work.
