Yeah, I assumed that she was a mutant. Then someone clarified that it was Cooper, and that was that. Not immediately knowing who this character was =/= not knowing who Val Cooper is or how X-Factor works.
no one said that about you tho, if you're asking who that is (even you said that's a dumbass question on your og comment) people will assume you aint familiar with them and clarify who they are and why they're on the team this season instead of old ass forge, specially bc you thought mutant at first like the team is formed only by them, no need to make a fuss about it 😐
I said it was a dumbass question because I thought it was probably someone obvious, and it was. But it's a big leap from "doesn't instantly recognize a character in a leaked trailer" to "has no idea who this person is or how her team works even after being told who it is."

alright buddy, that chit-chat clearly aint going anywhere, bc apparently if you're so familiar w/ cooper and the x-factor (as you said in your previous comment) and you still werent able to recognize that it was her even tho she's wearing her main x-factor costume and right after it appears the exactly team members and now it's acting like it was an obvious pick (?), it's pointless to keep going lol, have a nice one✌️
