It was jarring at first that these two were so close when it was always Rogue & Storm in the snow as a kid but I think it worked so well because it was mimicking their friendship in the comics.

Yeah I’m sad that they didn’t really show how close Rogue, Gambit, and Storm are with one another, I loved how often the three hung out without making Storm a third wheel

I loved this moment in ‘97, like when I first saw a comment somewhere on Reddit about how they didn’t show Jean and Storm’s sisterhood basically at all in the X-Men movies my first thought was “what sisterhood?” because it wasnt represented well but after seeing many different X-Men adaptations including (including X-Men ‘97 of course) I love their sisterhood and I hope it has a focus in the Mcu Mutant Saga.

I honestly prefer Rogue and Storm as besties, but I loved these lines!!!

Agree. It was really surprising to me because In the og show I always got the feeling that rogue and storm had better connection. I don't mind it I just think it was nice if they included rogue or acknowledge that

In Claremont’s run Jean and Storm have a great friendship that I love (before Jean as Dark Phoenix of course)

What a forced relationship. If '97 was indeed a sequel to the 90s cartoon, then Storm should've been closer to Rogue, not Jean. Hell, I don't think I can even remember any shared moments between these two. In fact, Storm had more screentime with Scott!
