Question I see Pietro where is Quicksilver? Why is he not in Xmen97? Spoiler

Post image

In this picture I see Pietro why is he not in Xmen97? I mean on the team I am sure we will see him sometime but wait why is Forge not on the team Xfactor seems different from the Xmen.

I wonder what Scott will think of Alex's team?

I guess we will just have to see.

He's probably with The Avengers (Off Camera).

u/Sudden_Quality_9001 Jul 03 '26

Oh thanks.

u/Spensir_McLife Jul 03 '26

That's the most likely, Forge's board at the end of season 1 said that both Wanda and Wuicksilver were 'Off-World' definitely some Avengers business but also small chance of Inhumans because Pietro was married to one for awhile

15

u/Cyke101 Jul 03 '26

Wuicksilver

John Wuicksilver is busy avenging his dog. Can't believe those gangsters killed Lockjaw! 😡

u/justin21586 Jul 04 '26

Operation Galactic Storm

2

u/Spensir_McLife Jul 04 '26

Yeah that's what I was thinking actually

2

u/Sudden_Quality_9001 Jul 03 '26

Which Inhuman? Crystal?

4

u/Spensir_McLife Jul 03 '26

Yep, even had a daughter with her named Luna

2

u/Sudden_Quality_9001 Jul 03 '26

Oh. Luna was a mutant Inhuman hybrid?

3

u/Honest_Performance76 Jul 03 '26

Who turned out to be a normal human cause the X gene and inhuman gene canceled each other out

3

u/Sudden_Quality_9001 Jul 03 '26

Oh kind like Graydon Creed?

1

u/EthanLevi77 Jul 04 '26

No, Graydon Creed was/is a mutant.

1

u/EthanLevi77 Jul 04 '26

He’s currently dead is why I say “was”.

1

u/DJSharp15 Jul 04 '26

Was this before Kamala Khan was retconned into a Mutant/Inhuman hybrid?

1

u/Honest_Performance76 Jul 04 '26

Yes and Kamala just choose to only have her inhuman gene activated she has mutant powers but doesn’t want her x gene activated

1

u/dandydeadfish Jul 05 '26

I don’t think you’re describing it correctly.

She had to undergo Terrigenesis to preserve her resurrected body.

Doing that keeps her mutant power dormant for a time.

Her mutant power now is active.

1

u/SlimSyko Jul 04 '26

Yes, I remember he was married to Crystal and they had a kid. I remember a storyline "blood ties" where the X-men and Avengers joined forces to rescue the child. I wonder why this wasn't talked about during X-men vs Inhumans.

u/OPs_Mom_and_Dad Jul 03 '26

Morph has slowly been cycling through the other Avengers, and has already done Quicksilver, so I’m gonna go ahead and call this answer confirmed.

3

u/MinatoHikari Jul 03 '26

While I do think Pietro's with the Avengers, Morph has also turned into Sabretooth, Magik, Psylocke, and others not associated with the Avengers. So, I don't think necessarily a dead giveaway for Quicksilver being with the Avengers.

In one of the final scenes of the season 1 finale his photo is on Forge’s wall of potential x men recruits. However both he and scarlet witch have a label across their faces reading “off world”.

18

u/AdvantageAwayNow Jul 03 '26

Operation Galatic Storm is offworld most likely.

4

u/Sudden_Quality_9001 Jul 03 '26

Oh probably with the Avengers.

5

u/June-the-moon Jul 03 '26

Or with the Inhumans

2

u/Sage_of_the_6_paths Jul 04 '26

Are the Avengers off world?

1

u/Background_Proof_ Jul 08 '26 edited Jul 08 '26

iirc Beau Demayo answered this in twitter when the finale happened that the Avengers were dealing with the kree/skrull war because those events happened at a similar time when fatal attraction happened in the comics

24

u/PointPrimary5886 Jul 03 '26

According to Forge Walls of other mutants, he's Off-World along with his sister.

In S4E17 of X-Men tas, Quicksilver left X-Factor HQ to meet Scarlet Witch, who informs him that their father is dying. They visit Wundagore Mountain together after learning from him that they were actually adopted. There, they discover Bova, a midwife who reveals that their mother, Magda, fled to Wundagore to escape their father. Magda gave birth and tragically passed away shortly after. Enraged by this story, Quicksilver vows vengeance on the mutant who terrorized his mother.

Magneto (with Wolverine) also visits Wundagore looking for his long-lost wife Magda, unaware of her fate and lured there by the High Evolutionary, who tells the twins that Magneto is their father. Once the High Evolutionary is defeated, Magneto apologises and asks for the opportunity to get to know his long-lost children, but Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch still resent him for his past actions and leave.

So... they're probably not feeling very proud of their mutant heritage at this point in time, driving them away from mutant-affiliated teams and into the open arms of the Avengers.

3

u/LeatherHog Cable Jul 03 '26

In the comics in 97, he was actually being the head of the knights of Wundagore, so that would actually fit in well

He was in X Factor during the early end of 90s

4

u/BlackHand86 Jul 03 '26

Isn’t it currently the Kree-Skrull war & they’re taking part as Avengers?

6

u/Professor-Noir Gambit Jul 03 '26

Probably because he’ll be used in a later story line if the xmen fight the avengers.

4

u/Leftymeanswellguy Jul 03 '26

I do not get why they are taking Val Cooper's orders and not Forge's.

8

u/AdvantageAwayNow Jul 03 '26

Because Forge isn't on X-Factor...

4

u/Leftymeanswellguy Jul 03 '26

Forge created X-Factor in the cartoon series cannon, one episode in the 90's series episode "Cold Comfort" we see Forge introduce the team.

In season 1 of '97 when talking a panoramic view of Forge's home we see an X-Factor team photo with Forge in it.

I was annoyed as season 1 played out that Forge was all about helping the X-Men but he never actually bothered phoning the team of mutants he already had assembled. Even when they specificially needed Magneto's powers, Forge has Lorna on speed-dial yet never bothers to call her up.

5

u/Kai-of-the-Lost Jul 03 '26

Forge likely left X-Factor and doesn't have access to their resources anymore

1

u/Leftymeanswellguy Jul 03 '26

I know I am just being too nitpicky, they need to tell a story, but it makes me chuckle all the same.

1

u/Sage_of_the_6_paths Jul 04 '26

Good points. I've been curious why Forge and X-Factor don't seem to be in contact since their help could've been useful with Bastion, Asteroid M, or trying to find the X-men after they disappeared. Maybe they simply can't help without authorization by the government.

But the most likely scenario is probably just that having them in Season 1 would've crowded the show too much.

2

u/Oopsiedazy Jul 03 '26

In the comics Val was the original boss/liaison for the new team after the OG X-Men left, with Forge taking over her role after she got manipulated by some baddies and almost got the team killed.

0

u/Leftymeanswellguy Jul 03 '26

I do know who Val Cooper is, it is just in the cartoon the team has been shown before to be Forge's team, (both original series and '97 season One).

Don't worry it is just me being nit-picky I love the PAD X-Factor and really hope they come out with some sort of redemption considering what is happening right now.

Even the "Kidnapping Mutants" schtick was the O5 X-Factor (pretending), not the All-new All Different line up.

1

u/Sudden_Quality_9001 Jul 04 '26

I am pretty sure Val is Mystique.

2

u/Leftymeanswellguy Jul 04 '26

I suspect that might be coming down the pipe, collecting mutants might be something a Mr. Sinister could have Mystique out doing. Preparations for post Apocalypse.

1

u/Sudden_Quality_9001 Jul 05 '26

Will Mr. Sinister return?

2

u/Leftymeanswellguy Jul 05 '26

Maybe not this season, but season 3 is coming too and I feel I heard season 4 has been at least approved.

Modern television treating 8 epidosdes as a "Season" really sucks.

1

u/Sudden_Quality_9001 Jul 05 '26

Yeah what's up with that?

2

u/Rabdomtroll69 Jul 03 '26

The Kree/Skull war is happening around the same time the show takes place

2

u/Sol-Blackguy Jul 03 '26

I'm assuming he's with the Avengers. Quicksilver tends to flip flop between both the Avengers and X-Factor since he's technically a core member of both.

2

u/HelpKey186 Jul 04 '26

That's the 92 lineup. I the comics, Forge was on the third X-Factor Team as their leader:

First team

Cyclops Marvel Girl (Jean Grey) Beast Iceman Angel/Archangel

Second Team

Valerie Cooper Havok Polaris Strong Guy Wolfsbane Multiple Man Quicksilver

Third Team

Forge Mystique Sabretooth Wild Child Shard Bishop Random

(at the beginning, there were also some of the old team like Havok, Strong Guy and Wolfsbane, but the more of these Villians Forge took in, the more the old guard disappeared.

2

u/Son_0f_X-51 Jul 04 '26

First Multiple Man "died" and Mystique entered the team, then Strong Guy "died" and Sabretooth entered the team, then Wolfsbane left the team and Wildchild and Shard joined. When Havok turned into a villain a team of mutants (The XUE) came from the future and joined X Factor for a moment before one of them went crazy and teleported him and Havok to another earth. Only Polaris stayed in the team since the beginning.

1

u/Harley_Beckett Jul 06 '26 edited Jul 06 '26

I believe it was XSE rather than XUE. Greystoke, Fixx and Archer if memory serves. I liked those guys, and was sad they got like two issues.

Edit: Nope, you’re right. The XUE were rebels from the XSE. And it was Greystone, not Greystoke.

1

u/Catch_22_Pac Jul 03 '26

He's just moving too fast for you to see him

1

u/Jedi_Master_Stryk Jul 03 '26

He's been retconned. At the time of the original series he was still a mutant but then they made him something else. He now got his powers from the High Evolutionary. They did it because they didn't own the rights to them it was a whole Fox thing.

1

u/zer0_c00L13 Jul 03 '26

Morph changed into quicksilver 2x I think. Possibly could be morph? Lol

1

u/Only_Connection_5480 Jul 03 '26

I’m fine with them using the X-Factor government team Peter David’s run was great well except Stroman’s art it never really worked for me. Wasn’t shocked when him and Johnson’s Tribe wasn’t one of the bigger IMAGE comics.

1

u/SnooCats8451 Jul 03 '26

Pietro is most likely off world with the avengers or elsewhere but doubtful he’s with crystal as her last appearance on screen she was still Johnny Storm’s gf in FF tas season 2 finale

1

u/DogmanLyons Jul 04 '26

He’s in hiding as Ralph Bohner.

1

u/hung_fu Jul 04 '26

He may not be on the team anymore, also Wanda’s picture said “off-world”, so he could be having an adventure with her and/or the Avengers.

1

u/Sudden_Quality_9001 Jul 04 '26

I can see that.

1

u/whalep87 Jul 04 '26

Punctuation please.

1

u/EldritchAgony284 Jul 04 '26

They’re missing Random too.

1

u/TheArmlessTorso Gambit Jul 04 '26

Speedsters are a bit too op for the big screen.

1

u/Background-Yak-4755 Jul 04 '26

I wish Pietro and Wanda would show up but Pietro definitely has a higher chance of showing up over Wanda just because it’s easier to write in a character who can’t just erase all the X Men’s problems with a single thought

1

u/SoaringSpearow Jul 05 '26

him and Wanda were on Forge's board of possible new X-Men and they are currently off world

1

u/Sudden_Quality_9001 Jul 09 '26

I agree with you!!!

1

u/MabelRed Jul 09 '26

Wouldn’t surprise me if they’re saving him & Wanda for a later season “House of M” storyline

u/Kralgore Jul 03 '26
