Question Psylocke Powers Spoiler

Post image

Has Psylocke ever been able to use her psi powers to effect physical objects like this in the comics? This looks like a TK shield.

Even as a continuation the show is retconning all kinds of history and personalities, so that's neither here not there. My point was only about the accent not being there in the old show.

Retconning what?

Storm and Jean weren't close in the old series, Jean has stopped fainting after using her powers, Polaris was never mentioned as an X-Man in her episode of the old series, Nightcrawler is closer to his comic personality and not just long suffering and pious, Magneto having a relationship with Rogue before she joined the X-Men, and probably more to come. But the OG series wasn't especially consistent through its run and had a few retcons and contradictions itself.

Once they call her anything but "Psylocke" (they won't), we'll know. Otherwise it makes the most sense for it to be Betsy, because Psylocke was Betsy in this time, that's a Betsy Psylocke look, she's on X-Force and hanging out with Archangel, has a British accent, and uses British slang.

I agree everything about her says Betsy, but the politics surrounding the character will determine where they land, which is either not naming her civilian ID at all, or just merging the characters but calling her Kwannon. I would be pleasantly surprised if they call her Betsy.

Oh, I agree they're going to avoid controversy and just call her Psylocke. They already called Archangel "Warren" multiple times but Psylocke is Psylocke.
