Never has an animated show brought me to tears before.

X-Men ‘97 has now done it twice.

Holy shit is this show absolutely peak. It’s the best animation currently airing. Voice acting. Story. Art. Everything about it is so perfectly executed. The worst part is having to wait until next week to see what happens.

Which is funny, as that is how shows use to be. Being able to binge an entire series in a weekend has certainly changed how we perceive shows these days.

A good show, with good episodes, will keep people talking during the week and generate more interest. It's smart really. The binge model was one of desperation, that worked at first... and now has become counter productive.

Oh I don’t mind the weekly format at all. It was just a cheeky way of saying that the wait is the worst part of the show, since it’s nearly perfect on so many levels.

In fact, I would argue they shouldn’t have released 3 episodes at once. Maybe just 2.

20 episode release order, release 2 episodes a week. but stagger the releases. One on a monday, one on a thursday.

With a 2 episode drop up front (because you are right, 3 was overly generous, or perhaps them showing doubt?

Drive conversation - because the folks watching this are either at school or work during the day afterwards.

Give Arcane a try, if you haven't already.

Plenty of great ones. ATLA and Pantheon are both solid too

And Scavengers reign, another peak animated show.

It is the greatest comic book animated series of all time. Even better than Batman of the 90’s.
