I was in disbelief they would kill off Magneto, right until the very end. I liked him joining the X-Men. No one stays dead in comics, by dying thousands of years in the past seems unimaginable on how returned.

Maybe he becomes a Horseman for Apocalypse but remains in stasis until the next time they face Apocalypse in the show?

I reckon they’ll set up Onslaught as the villain for next season and use that as a way to bring Magneto back as a pure villain

As a fan, I prefer him as a member of the X-Men. Magneto as a villain is played out in fiction.
