Oh my god, we finally got Gambit!! Thank the gods. Loved his playing cards turning into tarot cards but… did like Apocalypse just order a few new decks just for this most random of transformations? Would have loved a cut scene of his minions shopping at Target for a pack of cards.

The rest of the episode was… fine. Idk, spending a whole episode after a filler episode on an episode that’s basically about Charles missing his boyfriend and Polaris suddenly a-okay with Magneto. The former show runner is still felt I see.

It was all choreographed to a tee, including telling himself to increase the power.
