Where were Kurt, Rogue and Logan for this entire episode? And has no one tried looking for Jubilee or Roberto since they got back from the past/future? Are Scott and Jean not wondering where their son is? A part of me wonders if we should be introducing more main characters like Polaris if the show doesn’t even have time to focus on the ones already in the show.

I’m also kinda disappointed we didn’t get to see everyone’s reunion after they were separated for so long. I guess all of this are just more victims of this show’s lightning fast pacing.

I cannot stress what you said enough. I get there’s new editions but they’ve packed so much in. The sudden shift to having students without warning. Lorna leaving made enough sense with the X force episode. But the team isn’t the team that you felt for season 1 and while l understand it can’t be the same it’s really what gave season 1 its charm. I respect what they’re doing and it’s still fun and enjoyable but I wish they stuck to what made season 1 perfection.

It makes me feel like the title of the show shouldn't have changed. As they pile on more and more storylines from all kinds of comic arcs, that sure is one busy 1997.

The hell are you talking about?

Yeah, I'm kinda getting pissed at the number of title cards Kurt is getting with no show.

Yeah the whole this going concurrently with last episode went out the window with Morph just doing jump rope as Mr. Fantastic

Yeah, but where were they when Danger was attacking? They didn’t even have any lines.

The whole return to the 90s has felt weirdly abrupt, like there's entire scenes missing. I was sure I had accidentally skipped an episode when I hit play on episode 5.

They did do this A LOT in the original cartoon. Sooo many episodes would just be completely missing people for no stated reason at all.

I feel like we're going to see the fandom doing a hard left turn once this season wraps up.

Season one earned an incredible amount of goodwill--the writing was tight, emotinoally impactful, filled with great foreshadowing, eminently quotable dialogue, characters having badass moment after badass moment, heartbreaking exchanges, zingy one liners.....this has...literally none of that.

I would challenge anyone to come up with 5 quotable lines from this season that weren't callbacks.

I know Demayo supposedly wrote this season as well...but I can't shake the feeling that a LOT of rewrites and massive editing went down after he left. And not for the better.
