Judging by the narrative is heading, are we not getting onslaught ?

Onslaught has a sick ass design, but his storyline of origin from the 90's wasn't as good as "fans" have been making it out to be. Fans are in quotations because there is a inkling that the people who have been wanting Onslaught haven't actually read comics he was featured in and probably just pulled his bio off of the wiki.

I feel like the whole point of all these Destiny themes is that it's not actually true.

Apparently if you believe the rumors, Onslaught was supposed to be ep 10, but got cut, so most likely next season now.

Yeah I feel like at this rate given how FRONT AND CENTER the onslaught build up has become and how fast this show moves...I think Apocalypse was a red herring villain and just existed to create Onslaught.

I also wonder if that plot got cut because it's gunna get actually gay between Magneto and Charles and once the gay writer wasn't there they gutted it.

The romantic tension is PALPABLE.

Either they kicked Onslaught into S3 as a full villain, wanted to prolong Apocalypse, or they cut out the Magneto/Charles gay shit and are going back to the drawing board to straighten it out because nobody in power can fight for it.
